Obviously, when they neither confirm or deny any intentions of releasing a hack. I actually use my PS4. If i'm not mistaken, MathieuLH was an absolute ass during the hacking of the PS3, so i don't really listen to anything he says, at all.

very nice, 5.01 means i can find a good console at very low price, right now i can only find the fat model for like 350-400 euro which is inane, a 5.01 is easly 200-230 euros

yeah 3.70, although good luck finding one. you also need the game patches for utilizing it, so there is little sense in getting one below 4.5x at least

If hacking was somewhat quicker and more concrete than what it is now, at least people would try to sell their 3.70 consoles, or 4.50 and you'd find some on auction sites.

We need more hombrew stuffs, and maybe better Linux implantation .. hopefully with the new kernel things will be easier...
Multiman,Showtime/Movian etc.. from the PS3 area.. we need PS4 ports for those.

external hdd support is coming (cause it was introduced in newer firmwares, specific in 4.50) for installing games.
multiman isnt needed, and doesnt work. installing the pkg is fine cause the only way to dump games is to run them. otherwise it would be still decrypted. sure if you have a repo of all decrypted elfs you could just rip the bluray and replace the boot files (im not even sure if that would work, i think everything is decrypted and not only the "executables"). maybe its a bit more convenient to have multiman to use with already decrypted files so you dont need to install them, but thats nothing important imho

so with the recent developments...go ps4pro or not? i don't have a 4k display and don't plan on buying one anytime soon, but the framerate improvements, supersampling and loading times seem to be worth it.
finding one with 4.55 or below is a whole other story of course.
