My first post was something like this:
"Impressive AI ! + the link"
It got deleted.
I created another post, this time "Is AI going to be fixed in day 1 patch?" and it is still alive ...for now |
Well that explain way more, you managed to kill my hope in developers and restore it in 2 posts.

AI seems to be really shitty in general. Look around 1:28:28. |
Outdoor graphics are more on a modded mount'n'blade level rather than what was promised. Where is any depth? It's over saturated, low res and building textures look flat.
And that nfs motion blur when moving?! If even I notice it then huh...
edit: And one more thing - this looks boooooooring as fuck |
Isnt that the xbox version shown?
Edit, nvm its PS4 someone wrote it faster. Woops
Regarding boredom, everyone has their own style, for me standing in patrol for 3 hours in arma was a blast, more fun than in combat

there's actually motion blur in the screenshot of the man walking in front of the dude in the funny hat. It's rather over the top to have blur whilst travelling at 5km a hour isn't it?

Can someone share it on PCgaming's Reddit, please? I'm banned there for self-promoting, LOL.

Judging by the number of people whining about the graphics of the PS4 version all over the place, Warhorse have clearly done themselves no favours with a simultaneous release. I can only imagine that must have been mandated by the publisher to maximise sales, minimise marketing costs. And to think Kickstarter was supposed to free us of this sort of bullshit....

Well, the game is very VERY demanding (barely getting 30fps with a GTX 1080 Ti at 4K @ max details), so it's not surprise graphics on PS4 looks like shit.

I wonder if the next console gen will finally see a mandated online connection and their games will be date locked like PC games are. Devs must hate this sort of shit (publishers as well, but only because of the potential financial impact).

looks like HL2 graphics on console lol.
ppl getting way too hyped about this game. looks very janky, i can only hope the gameplay is good despite its flaws, like a Piranha Bytes game before the crappy Risen sequels.

Ultra High is the max value for main settings, but the Ultra High preset doesn't max the view distance for objects, vegetation and LOD. The images from the settings are included in the gallery I posted.

Yeah think I'd rather bump the draw distance options to max and drop some of the other, more expensive options down a notch or two - maxed out shadows and such are nice for screenshots, but I don't pay too much attention to them during normal gameplay.

Are you able to say what are the fps on 1440p with the same settings you used ?
Thanks

I think the game is way overhyped. 3 years ago it had a good looking tech demo, but that's all.
Gameplay wise, it looks like a very, very, very slow paced RPG that realy does nothing new. It a niche game. Only fun for people that ant to l live out their medieval fantasy and graphics whores.

@inz
Reducing shadows quality is the first thing I do when fps is too low. In most cases I can't even tell the difference between some shadow presets when playing, so what's the point then...
@Pey
What's ur fps @1080p?

Nothing wrong with being slow paced. I'm more worried it will be so broken and boring as fuck.

Meh, the Gothic games are some of the best RPG's ever, most of their reviews were quite low so i wouldn't really pay too much attention to reviews. i'll find out in a few minutes (well, gotta play it to get some feel for it, too)
