What exactly here looks like a bullshot? If you take GTA5 on max settings and go to the mountain area where there is a lot of vegetation, you can reproduce these quite the same. And that's a 2015 engine. If they optimized their vegetation render, they can ramp up flora without the terrible slowdown in the GTA5 engine. If they switched their rendering pipeline to PBR, it means even more impressive stuff can be achieved.
Looks legit to me.
RDR was 8 years ago... Same years as Alan Wake and God of War3.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
What gameplay do you need to see? I doubt it'll change much from the first. I just hope they have a proper story and some memorable characters this time.

You know exactly how gameplay will look. But the graphics in this trailer are real and are indicative of how the game will look.
boring compared to gta 5? Gta 5 is the biggest crap when it comes to characters and story. They went full retard. I don't even remember what it was about. The nonfocus on 3 characters all the time was the worst decision rockstar could make. None of those characters was good and game lacked focus.
I prefer focuses, good(better) story like RDR of gta IV. not a parody of itself that tries to be funny and over the top most of time

I recall many weren't impressed with the God of War trailers prior to release. I'll reserve judgement given Rockstar almost always deliver exceptional games.

It's definitely missing the classic rockstar trailer feel, this could've been a ubishit game as well.
I don't feel any hype, I am sure it will be a good game but I dont expect another RDR.

I need good music for hype, something that rockstar always delivers in trailers, this game lacks that and the story/characters don't seem very interesting either.
Everything is very low key and not very rockstar-like.
I agree with @The_Zeel and gibman70 but I don't agree with you KC.
For me GTA V was actually the only open world game that managed to both have an open world and a non boring main stories. Also the fact that it DID have 3 characters allowed me to focus more on the ones I want since not all are mandatory to progress.
GTA 4 didn't give you much of a choice on that matter, neither did previous GTA games. For me the best GTA games were Vice City and GTA V. How can you say GTA 5 was bad compared to previous ones ?
It was genius to have heists in this game, and I really felt connected with some of the characters. I liked that every character were twisted too, specially Franklin and Michael (trying to be good guys even though they can't). I know most were fans of Trevor but this guy wasn't as interesting to me, since he was always too crazy and didn't evolve much in the game.
I was hoping that RDR2 followed GTA V path but so far trailers don't show that as in boring story a la Ubisoft.
Then again I was disappointed into early Max Payne 3 trailers (but I think we all were, because they did suck), but the end result was much better. Same goes for GTA 5 although the early trailers weren't as bad as this one.
Maybe they are pulling a God of War, we'll see, usually Rockstar have amazing launch trailers (as the one from RDR show) so if this one is bad then it smells bad.

My main issue with GTA V is that the campaign lacked more heists and stories. It just felt like too much jumping around in time between story missions. And we all know that's because they spent more of the budget on Online, which is not as fun if your friends don't play the game.
I hope this game doesn't follow the GTA V path and focuses on the Single Player campaign.
