Almost 10 years now, guess the book had a purpose after all then.

...Bukakke buffet?
("All you can beat dinner.")

I prefer meat myself though so meh, not much of a sauce fan either really. Very Happy
("Baby batter bakery." Egh.)

EDIT: PETA had an idea a few years back too I believe.

Though from what I remember reading human meat isn't the most nutritional.
(Well duh I guess, what with the fat problem these days ha ha.)

Has some tropes too.

EDIT: Or just good old human creativity.

(Still not as bad as t he various birth cakes out there. Razz )

Sounds like other parts of Europe also has that little mix up, thanks to whoever that explorer was again who thought he found India but landed in America, Columbus? There was a few who landed in these regions ever since old Harald and possibly even before him. Very Happy
(Bringing trade goods - shiny glass beads. - and foreign STD's and other diseases for which they had no resistances.)

So yeah Indians here too for several years or "Indianer" to use the Swedish word, Native American has slowly become more common though I believe. Smile
(Indier for people of India so there's a small distinction at least in Swedish though not much of one thanks to some historical fuck-up.)

@JBeckman

But in Swedish there's a clear difference between indianer and indier so the wording makes sense. What KC said makes very little sense. ^_^

I guess you're right, I edited in the Swedish terms after my initial post as there is a bit of a difference in spelling even if both are similar. Smile

English translated would likely be Native American though Indian was popular in media such as various westerns if I remember correctly, thanks yet again for that Hollywood I guess.
(No cars don't explode when flipped over.)

EDIT: Or the various tribe names, thankfully certain slurs have become less used also.

EDIT: Interesting, looked up the names a bit more and their meanings.

"The best people." Now that's a name. Very Happy

Well the names of the native tribes are actually quite beautiful:
Apache, Comanche, Cherokee, Cheyenne, etc:

If anyone has any questions about Native Americans please feel free to ask. Being a mutt myself, my grandfather on my mothers side is "Navajo". So I was raised with being taught some things about the culture Smile

Sounds racist.

Maybe you can look up the definition of "culture" again?
