It's pretty good so far. Shit is going to hit the fan in ep3.
But it's only 6 parts, unless you have nothing else to watch and due to the way the story is told I recommend you wait and then binge.
Also don't read about the real events. It'll spoil the show for you.
What I really like is that they don't go into the speculations and theories as to who fired first. They don't show it. They don't say it. You just hear it happen. Which is smart and tense as fuck.
John carter is doing a bang up job! Super girl is ok.
Zod is awesome as he's always awesome in anything he does.
I randomly stumbled upon this mini-series, what a great experience it turned out to be. It's more like a ~5-hour long movie really, there's a ton of tension going on in a crescendo where the quality direction and acting amplify the dramatic power (Taylor Kitsch and Michael Shannon are simply excellent).
Not knowing anything about the real-life events is a major plus indeed, I was a Jon Snow and how the situation (d)evolved kept me on the edge of my seat to the very end. Good stuff!
A little bit of filler in between though and a little too much dramatization, but it was certainly a nice surprise
