yeah, for some reason i never really managed to find good tests with 1080 ti, 4K AND 8600K.. there's always something lacking, they dont test in 4K or they use a lower end gfx card. In one test they seemed totally obsessed with 720p in 1440p they perform quite equally with 1080 (not ti). http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/intel-core-i5-8600k-processor-review,28.html

Do feel free to post results you find that shows either i7's or Ryzen is better in 4K with 1080 ti though Maybe my google skills sucks.. The 8600K overclocks better than 8700K too (not sure about Ryzen).. so even if by some odd chance it would look a bit different in 4K with 1080ti i'm sure a 8600k at 5GHz would make up for that difference.

1440p and upwards = CPU bottleneck removed, AMD, Intel, they all perform the same (perhaps 1fps more on intel).
