I for one cannot wait for the game. All i need is CoD2 with better graphics, new maps, few thousand players and that's it.

It doesn't quite look like it's my cup of tea (prefer a more realistic-ish RO2/Rising Storm approach myself), but I hope they manage to release something that works well and is able to satisfy the ol' Promod/classic COD fans. Hell, anything that helps to fight greedyvision Inc. is welcome

Idd, these two games have nothing in common. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is closer to a sim compared to the arcady gameplay of CoD.

I'm not really experienced in MP shooters so I can't understand the appeal of "classic MP" as in CoD 2 and MoH. You want low recoil, less realism and fast/unhindered movement so you avoid Red Orchestra 2, Day of Infamy etc? You don't want the added stuff and progression in newer CoD games like CoD:WW2?
Where is this golden spot you are looking for that this will fill?

Classic old school fps. That's all i want.
I don't want content locked behind loot boxes, some slow-ass progression, i don't want kill strikes, attachments (or at least tons or op ones) and so on and on.
I play QC for my arena shooter needs, PUBG for some semi realism, R6: Siege for some good old, slow tactical gameplay and now i only need some CoD 1 or 2, MoH clone without any bullshit in it and this is where Battalion comes in.
