I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse than last season - boy was I wrong! The first seven minutes was more or less a documentary of today's America - and exactly why not everyone should be allowed to vote. I'll see if I can make it through this first episode - but I'm not very hopeful, heh.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Didn't like it at all.. if episode 2 doesn't improve, I don't think I'll bother this time around. Season 6 was bad but somewhat funny in a dorky way at least.

I didn't even finished Season 4.. I think I will watch the remining 4 episodes of that season sometimes and finish with the series.. apparently it got worse and worse after season 2...
Stopped watching it after third clown episode. So bad. That girl just cries, Lesbos, clowns not scary. What happened to this? Same route as Walking Dead. Both just bad! Deleted from Sick Beard!
Dear Waargh, thank you for your nice post, but I am actually a NFO Marine who was born to kill, whereas clearly you seem to have mistaken me for some sort of wine sipping, communist dick suck. And although AHS probably appeals to tree hugging bi-sexuals like you and your friends, I happen to be a death-dealing, blood-crazed warrior who wakes up every day just hoping for the chance to dismember my enemies and defile their civilizations.
AHS sucks a hairy asshole, Waargh. The Deuce, is the mother-fucking answer.

I stopped following AHS last season (a bore). I gave the first two episodes a shot but it was "meh" to me.
However;
I flipped channels the other day and just happened upon the nail gun scene by chance. I have to say, it was actually a really disturbing scene. Props to the actor being "killed".
Perhaps I've become a softie or something (empathy) but that scene actually got me. The facial expressions, the knowledge that he lived through the process (IRL some guy survived with 12 nails in his head after a suicide attempt on meth.. very lucky guy).
I feel that any kind of torture/slow killing focused on the gray matter as opposed to the body is worse since we exist in our brains; our bodies are just tools for our brains to communicate with the external world with.
Creator Ryan Murphy just revealed the FX horror anthology’s next edition will be set … in the future!
While it’s very early stages for the eighth season of AHS, Murphy reveals they’re much further along on planning the ninth season, which will like be the crossover between Murder House (season 1) and Coven (season 3). “We’re working on it, but it’s not going to be the next season,” Murphy said. “Next season is season 8, and it’ll probably be the one after that.

Anybody else found that scene disturbing?
It was pretty disturbing indeed !
While this last season was flawed from left and right, it had very vivid shocker moments ( the whole serial killer/Charles Manson thing was pretty fucked as well ) that would catch you off.
Coven was the most ridiculous season on the show to me, I only liked the first couple episodes and then it went totally apeshit with that whole little-witch-club which felt like some children book and their ridiculous internal affairs that nobody cared about.
