The Sims 3 Revealed.
The Sims 3 Revealed [January 22, 2006, 1:25 pm ET] - 14 Comments
The Gamma Ray Clients Page and the Feng Zhu Design Clients Page each list The Sims 3 as one of the projects to which they are contributing (thanks Tiscali Games and Sims Zone), more-or-less confirming plans for a sequel to the people sim (not that there was much room for doubt in this area).

Someone obviously doesn't have a sister/gf. My sister would kill for the Sims, it's the only game she'll touch for an extended period of time (bar any NFS).

I think she means that not only girls play the game, but also the male-gamers. But we (=male-gamers) think it's gay to play The Sims, so we say that it is for our sister or girlfriend..

No, it's Maxis who develops, EA just distributes.
The housebuilding is the best part of the game, the rest gets boring.
I'll admit i played The Sims 2 a lot when it came out, but it gets boring after a while.
My sister still loves it (no, thats not me....)

Maxis stated awhile back in an interview that they expect 7 EPs with this one. With 3 around the corner we've got about 2 years from march before the last one hits, and you can expect the next game wihin about a year after that.
