Release: Jan , 2018
Genre: Walking

Quote:
BR9732 is a Virtual Tour inside Deckard's apartment.

Want to have a drink at the balcony watching the streets from the 97th floor?
Always wanted to start the Esper Machine by yourself and play the piano?

Enjoy 3D sound effects and Vangelis ambient music through your VR headset (or not) right now and take a walk inside this mythic Cyberpunk atmosphere!

At this stage, the experience offers a simple virtual tour.
You can walk around, look at details, pick some objects, play the piano, take a shower, start the Esper machine and enjoy the rain falling on the balcony.
The interactions are quite simple for now because I focused on exact replica modeling of the whole place to get the best immersion. I really wanted to push attention to details and reproduce the lighting and sound atmosphere of this movie.

It's not official. It will almost certainly get hit with a cease and desist before hitting Steam (and if Valve did any sort of fucking curation it never would have been able to get on Steam in the first place).

He put up a beta if anyone is interested (probably grab it before it is deleted).

You do have to submit a sample to Valve far as I know, some games were rejected due to their content in this way though then other games with even worse stuff were let through so I don't really know how that process works. (Well works and works, it kinda doesn't seem to.)

If some authors can put out repeated asset flips in Unity or visual novel style games ripping off artwork and content from some of the bigger names in the industry repeatedly without Valve taking any action there's some problem with how the process is working.

Kinda funny how they banned some adult tycoon game that doesn't have a single instance of nudity in the game some others with hardcore nudity have been let through to name one example.

As for this it might have slipped through, no doubt though with how active the movie and music industry is there will be a C&D letter shortly which well Valve does react that at least.

EDIT: The scene itself does appear to be quite well made though. Smile

The process is automated, like everything Valve does. They just have some scripts to test the package includes an exe and that it runs. Even then you can still slip shit past them that is not even functional. They very rarely have a real live person look at submissions. That is why the Steam store is such an utter fucking garbage pile.

Interesting, probably a blacklist then flagging certain terms, tags or names which gets a live employee to look at the submission.

EDIT: Well it is what it is, will be interesting to see what 2018 will bring.
(Guessing Steam's growth will continue to go up at least.)

Americas copyright law can be corrupt and lenient sometimes. You know most of disney' creation should be in public use, but it's not. Corrupt entitty and the fact they have marvel liscense is terrible.

Anyways, this isn't the same logo. So my guess is hes already talked to a lawyer.

vs

If you notice how the the year and title are swapped, and how its "9732". Under copyright law i'm pretty sure this is legal. because of swapping and no line through the title.

So my guess is this game is actually called "9732" - Blade Runner.

PC Specs: A Maganavox' Odyssey
Tweaked to play Frogger, Lemmings & GTA4
