To say the truth I don;t remember playing ANY nfs game after finishing both underground games, most wanted and carborn.
Is any of them good? I think there was another most wanted, hot pursuit, run, rivals and that nfs with fmv... I am in a mood for racing game/arcade racing game
The first Hot Pursuit is still my favourite.
The other just got crappier with each release. With this here it reached the bottom so far.

na, the first hp has the second place in all time history behind porsche (maybe even third place and 2nd to the original nfs in the special editions. so much fun playing the point to point races via lan. but those titles didnt age very well. just a few days ago i played a bit nfs porsche again (works without problems on win 10, using nglide), i better stick to my memories
Carbon was indeed the last one that I somewhat enjoyed, it had its nu-Needforspeedian flaws but it still managed to provide a dose of uber-arcadey charm. Then the horrible Prostreet followed by the abysmal Undercover were like the definitive answer that the time was arrived for me to abandon the boat (huehue)
From the recent-ish era I tried Shift 1 and 2 and liked 'em quite a lot (both heavily modded, the community surrounding them was quite amazing back then), though those weren't exactly the standard NFS titles, they had some physics involved

i love prostreet
mostly for the drag racing, because the perfect shift is satisfying in this game.
I still remember playing hot pursuit with my cousin splitscreen. I think it was hot pursuit anyway. One of the last oldskool ones on windy country roads. Was super fun.
Heck I remember playing the old basic 2d shit too as a confused dumb kid. Every NFS game was good for like 15ish years but now..... Sad times men
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Something we’ve heard loud and clear is that it’s often too time consuming to upgrade multiple cars. We agree, and as a result this is something we’ve been tackling over the previous weeks, and will continue to act upon.
We’ve already started this process and have made several server-side tweaks. The first of which was decreasing the amount of time for parts within the tune-up shops to refresh. This is now down from 30minutes to just 10minutes.
There’s also been changes to the way events, bait crates and roaming racers work. Completing any of these tasks will now grant you more in-game bank as well as more REP. The increase in winnings will allow you to purchase more cars, as well as parts. The increase in REP will have a side effect of awarding you more shipments, which in turn will lead to more bank, more part tokens and more vanity items.
Players in Ranked Speedlists will also notice an increased amount of parts being paid out. Win the Speedlist and you’re guaranteed a new part. We've also increased the frequency in which they are rewarded for simply playing in Speedlists.
We believe that owning a garage of customized cars is part of the essence that makes Need for Speed what it is. We’ll keep making tweaks, based on your feedback, and we’re committed to making car progression a much more enjoyable experience.
