Yeah something about the grower game of 2017 although update 1.3.0 did manage to turn mostly negative into mostly positive for the Steam ratings and greatly improved on many of the weaker aspects of the game.

It's still far from the original vision or the presentation would have you believe though and it seems 1.4.0 will continue to iterate further on the game bringing in some form of actual multiplayer among other features.
(No idea when that's getting released though, seems to be a bit quiet currently?)


For AC Origins it has some really interesting and diverse locations to explore but they do still have a lot of busywork for players to attempt but there's also quite a few side quests with some entertaining stores though the objectives do tend to repeat a bit to kill this or gather that and escort this and as a more linear game there's usually only a single outcome but the game is also a action game with RPG elements and not a full blown RPG.

It's a improvement over Ubisoft's usual open world design, still room for improvement but it's hopefully a start of them putting more work into their game worlds rather than just making them pretty looking ha ha. Smile


Guess we'll see, Far Cry 5 might end up being more of the same after all when that comes out. Delay should hopefully slightly reduce any PC port issues though it could go Watch_Dogs 2 too and be going for all sorts of fancy graphical effects.
(Or AC Origins and it's CPU dependency particularly for busier city environments where even a higher end quad core will feel the pressure compared to a hexa core CPU.)

I won't ever buy from ubi anything..Even if it's a good game. Their disgusting region locking (well, not region locking per se, but still) policy is ridiculous. They don't include English language in their games for some regions. And their pricing policy in these regions is pretty bad .So, no English language and high prices. They can go fuck themselves.

So, what we've got in a nutshell?

- forced uplay
- double layer DRM affecting performance (even if it didn't it is still an atrocious practice)
- no English language

That's how you drive people to piracy and make them hate your guts, stupid fucks. Laughing

Add to that constant lying, obsession with collectibles, watchtowers and shit... no, just no.

PS Even if you get a game from an international reseller for a much higher price you'll still end up with no English language available after having redeemed a key...like, wtf.. At least that's what I've read on ubi forums.
