Is it doable to play neogeo emulator with a 360 controller and a ps4 controller? Tried getting it to work and almost ripped my hair out. Was going to play metal slug with my brother, but even the pc port is fucked up where controllers are concerned.

why not? metal slug works fine with the sticks, no need to use the crappy d-pad of the 360 controller

havent tried the "pc" versions of it, but if you run mame it shouldnt be a problem to map the controllers. its ages ago but i played it with a friend that way

Mapping one controllet is fine with emulators, but i get no response from the other. Played cuphead like this just fine, so both should work

i assume the 360 controller works fine and the ds4 is the one which isnt working? try an xinput emulator for the ds4

If you are using a dualshock4 on the PC then you should set up the program DS4Windows to make it emulate a x360 controller and solve all your compatibility problems forever. You will probably want to enable the "Hide DS4" option to hide the DS4 device so the programs don't get confused when detecting the DS4 and just use the emulated x360 device instead.
