No but my camera has!
I also find it a bit baffling that people pay +600€ for a phone they hardly use outside of social medias, instagram filters and messaging.
At least you have less of that with us Hump nerds I guess... but still most features are done better on other devices. But hey, we live in a world where people watch netflix on their tablet/phone while there is a TV in the background

Nothing baffling, high end camera modules for smartphones are pretty expensive and command a high price (not to mention all the R&D that goes into them) so for people who love clicking pictures and posting.... well it makes sense for them to buy it to "look" their best in uploaded pics
1 and 2 are still amazing.

@mtj
Congrats to the phone, though personally i never was and probably never will be a fan of those 1+ phones.
Mainly because with their first phones they did those retarded preorder promotions. Like sending out invites to a few people, that would be able to preorder it. Or allow preorders for all for only a few hours at some days.
I currently have my eyes in this prefered order on the LG V30, Huawei Mate 10 (Pro), and Galaxy Note 8.

If you don't care for a a good camera, then you can get a very good smartphones for like 150€ - for example the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4(x).
But i care to also have a good camera (hardware PLUS software), though i am willing to pay up to 500-600€. Not more though. |
Aye, and I do mean it about the humpers you have a higher chance of those features being used more. My eyeroll is mostly directed to the average phone user.

Yea, I decided finally to try some new brand, and saw the Oneplus 5T yesterday. Specs look awesome. ( snapdragon 835, 8GB ram and 128GB storage.)

Stuck on OP3 here until it breaks atleast. Not a big fan of wasting money on phones everytime a new model comes out.

I had Samsung S5 before and it's starting to show signs of age (even music is lags if I try to browse at same time) and the case is starting to 'peel' off. |
here's how to rejuvenate your S5:
1. boot in safe mode
2. clear app cache
3. profit from your brand new performance S5
do this every ~6 months, but be careful not to reset the phone, as that option is near the one to clear the cache
also remember to clear the "last used apps" list every time you close apps, as the shitdroid os hangs them in the RAM until it's nearly full

You forgot the feature of free auto backing up all your data/pictures/passwords/CCs in China and the included keylogger

Congrats on the 5t, report how you like it. I moved from a several years old Nexus 4 to the OnePlus 3T last year when it came out, still happy as day one with it. And with the hacked Google Camera app you get to use Googles beautiful HDR algorithm which they usually only enable for their Nexus/Pixel line phones, and you get really awesome shots.
Also it's the first Android phone I did not throw Cyanogen/LinageOS on because OnePluses OxygenOS is so close to stock Android that it's just not worth it.
Great choice man.

I think you can switch those in settings (at least you could on the 1+X and that's an old one).

Oh thanks, that's true, found the option now
Also figured out why my camera opens sometimes randomly -> double power button tap opens camera by default (can be disabled) |
You can also turn on, in settings again, quick access to camera by tapping the "home" button twice. It's quite useful if you need to quickly take a photo. ^_^
