Only The Witcher 1 and World of Warcraft (vanilla), aeons ago, managed to make me feel so immersed in a game, making me want to return and just... be there.

Played some last night, Underground is blood-pumping fun, especially when the screen is starting to flicker - Hunters time! They are deadly on melee range - being able to one-shot you with their axe - they have a fantastic animation for that.
Had an Survival attempt, which failed as soon as we hit the DZ - we were not ready
Can't quite explain why but this one really feels that it's tailored for co-op as opposed to, say, borderlands 1 and 2.
Playing alone just isn't that much fun, exploration isn't as rewarding as in those two games and the least we talk about the setting the better ("we godda save new yawk! isn't new yawk gweat? best city in da wald!").
Oh well, at least I didn't have to spend 10€ to find that out so kudos on them for the free weekend.

Played last night and Fubar made an appearance, for old times sake - reminded me of the full team of Hairy the looter, Boob the purple nigga dreadz, Fubar and myself - good times men.
It's amazing how much they have improved the game. I just came back and am having a blast. If you are still a little sore from the destiny 2 reeming, give this a shot.

Haven't had a chance to fire it back up yet. Hopefully this weekend.

Loot and build variety. New area to explore and a lot of stuff to do. You're not forced to do a single stuff over and over again, but you can do w/ever and still get proper loot.
