Does it really matter for Battlefield?
There is no story focus.
They could release the another large multiplayer shooter and it would probably end up the same type of game, under a new name.

Would be nice if it's as good as BC2. That's probably the most fun I had with a Battlefield game since Vietnam. The newer games just have not been that great. They are amazing to look at, but I just haven't found them very fun. BF1 was better that 3 or 4, but BC2 was still better than the newer games, IMO.

I believe it. I'm happy they went for the Vietnam route. Think it's a very interesting war. I also think that it's nice they didn't run after COD and did the WW2 setting.
Hoping we'll see BC3 somewhere around november next year. And then 2 years down the line maybe a BF1944.

Ok...it will be a Cobra then and not a Viper...but with like 2500hrs in helis in BF-games and hating BF1 with a passion, this could be fun. :>

To be honest I'm kinda disappointed it's not going to be Vietnam. WW2 setting is always great, but I was just looking forward to shooting that M16A1 in the jungle.
