I got the Reloaded version. The installer crashed after displaying the option to run optional installers.
The free space is gone but no files are found. What gives? The folder is not hidden. Running the installer again just made me lose double the space required
I coudn't get the reloaded version running. Install went fine but when starting the game nothing happened.
Weird thing was that during those times trying to start the game my steam launcher opened 3 times.
Uninstalled and deleted the iso. i don't think i'll miss much.
The time has arrived to taste what the yearly Duty has to offer, an intense and memorable moment that always defines what gaming is all about. After nearly five hours of non-stop glorious action, it delivered beyond any possible imagination, it truly was dripping with old schoolness whilst bathing in the captivating next generation mechanics that make our hobby so memorable. A blending of modern and classic, the Definitive Call of Duty Experience engineered both for the old fans and the newcomers.
+ Advanced and more immersive quick time events replacing the obsolete pressing of the F button;
+ Enhanced design of the corridors, more accessible and devoid of physical interactions, allowing the player to stay focused without having to abandon the W button, thus breathing the WWII;
+ Faster chase-the-marker-based gunplay;
+ Traditional Hollywood-inspired auto-panning camera with exciting light-gun shooting sequences and innovative cutscenes;
+ Original sound effects sampled at authentic muffled 22khz quality;
+ Old-school slow-mo focus for sniping, minimal recoil and no cumbersome bullet drop, boosting the hectic flow;
+ Finely scripted AI mechanics and auto-regenerating enemies, tuned for the perfect emphatic pacing;
+ Dramatic and touching story inspired by Saving Private Ryan and written by CBS in collaboration with Bay's Platinum Dunes;
- Lack of dog companions and fauna powered by Quake engine's complex AI algorithms, a missed opportunity to form additional emotional bonds;
- No performance problems and relatively thorough options, an off-putting anomaly in the series;
- The re-introduction of medkits breaks the otherwise thrilling action, a compromise in order to grant the necessary realism, but perhaps too anachronistic in its implementation.

Maker Humvee vehicles Sues Activision for Call of Duty games
The maker of Humvee military vehicles filed a lawsuit accusing Activision Blizzard Inc of reaping billions of dollars of revenue by incorporating its trademarks without permission in its flagship “Call of Duty” video game franchise.
In a complaint filed on Tuesday night in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, AM General LLC accused Activision of taking advantage of its goodwill and reputation in the “Humvee” and “HMMWV” marks by featuring them prominently in “Call of Duty,” and licensing related content for use in toys and books, reports Reuters:
How do these numbers work? This is a Steam game right? So if they made $500.000.000 alone at roughly $50 per game, this should account for 10.000.000 sales, right? How come that the max amount of players is currently at the 45.000 mark? These must be the total console + PC, numbers including shipped and unsold units...
@PumpAction
Most of the sales are indeed from consoles. Also don't forget that the console versions cost $60 for most people, and there are some deluxe versions for up to $100.
Also i guess the game was bundled together with consoles and people bought it for their kids for (early) christmas.

6-8 hours max. Been playing it. Not so bad so far.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Kinda agree after playing the game. It was indeed nothing special. Same old stuff except with more boring story and characters. The visuals alone were good; rest everything was meh.

They could release another Cod in 2 years, and use the exact same game engine, graphics etc, and just change the title , swap a few weapons over, create a new 5 hour campaign and still sell it at $£50 - and it would still sell.
