If infinite warfare is anything to go by, the there is no need. It's graphics and performance was great

No. The power it required to run smooth with all the "beauty" was just nonsense.

wat.... the game ran great on my old 2gb 7870... just had to put textures to medium

Well they got all those after they conquered the Soviet Union.

Makes sense not to waste them.

Also noticed this. It is 44/45 after all. Makes sense they would be low on resources and use Russian weapons. It's the first game I've seen this. Is this a historical fact because it seems really weird?

It seems strange that "the scene" has still not cracked/released CoD WWII, I mean, there is already a working crack I know, but still...

I found this game to be...boring. I mean sales are up from previous one and people love WWII, but this felt off and very muddled somehow.

Then again BF1 was pretty much the same for me, but Infinite warfare's scifi setting was more appealing and enjoyable and it's a shame people disliked it.
Oh well, we will indeed get more WWII games for years to come... Laughing

Well, BF1's Multiplayer is just infinitely better than anything CoD has to offer.

I'd wish they would just stop making MP games with SP campaigns attached or the other way around.

Even though I might have issues with BF1 and prior games they're still miles ahead of current CoD games. So yeah, I agree...CoD ain't got shit on BF1. Very Happy

campaign is not bad, its ok, not the best but not the worst either, much better than the last cods because of the setting alone, and much better than bf1's.

and i like the soundtrack, reminds me of the old war movies

So, worth it for a campaign playthrough?

I enjoyed Infinte Warfare, but not so much the games before it.

I think it's worth a playthrough if you're okay with some cringy moments.

I found Infinite Warfare way better than this.

Speaking of the campaign.

Here, the fighting you do, over the top hero shit, and what you see in the cutscenes are just not coherent.

Btw, I think they tried to copy the Band of Brothers feeling quite a bit, in the cutscenes.

That's the impression I got from the trailers too. It may have fitted the old CoD back in the day, but the CoD brand has changed so much now that I just can't take it seriously anymore.

Not really arsed about this, but it is WWII so I want to at least give it a try. Has it turned up on newsgroups yet?
