Yup, use the rampant ADHD to your advantage Laughing

Also, can't wait for the outcry when they put the vaulting in... by the same "kind" of people... which is the majority Laughing

I've been playing a 10 games this weekend using the method mentioned above to fly further and it does help. Problem is, you tend to be towards the edge of the map unless the plain flies horizontally and even then, you need to be lucky with the circle.

My own method of flying straight down works best - few people fly straight down and most think they'll survive the longest by flying the furthest away. Flying down almost guarantees a good circle position as well if you don't get out at the edges of the map.

It's also very clear that few people chose to fly towards the west side of the map - there's entire areas where I was able to loot entire blocks of buildings in peace until the circle forced me to go east. I did this in four different games and only in one of the four, another guy went this way too, and he was not that close to pose a problem.

China usually only does something when things go too far. Like with their bike sharing thing - so many companies joined the bike sharing project that cities were completely littered with bikes and tens of thousands of bikes had to be placed outside of the city to make way for pedestrians.

If it still is as bugged as ever with awful servers and lag, yeah. I somehow doubt they will fix it all in 1.0.

Tarkov on the other hand seems a lot more fun!

Indeed. The game I played back in April is practically identical to the one now. Some problems have been ironed out and we got a FPS mode but that's it.

Incidentally, I gave up playing the FPS mode - I suspect there's too many hackers around because quite a few times I get shot when I'm concealed in a house and trying to catch someone off guard yet they manage to spot AND kill me almost immediately even though I keep all doors closed and make no noise - not logical. That and getting shot through walls. I wonder how bad cheating is in this game.

its not as bad as u think it is, the insane amount of players are making it less likely for u to meet a cheater.

its what is saving them right now from the cheat shit counterstrike went through.

5 times the amount of players doesnt mean 5 times more cheaters. it means 5 times less likely to meet a cheater from my pov

not really, new players arent cheaters, cheaters is a specific kind of sad human being stuck in his ways , depressed and probably sick in the head compulsive need to win or be good at something.

PUBG Bans More Than 80,000 Cheaters

A while ago a new set of Anti-Cheat Measures was embedded into the popular online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), numbers have now surfaced and as it seems the developer successfully isolated and permanently banned 80,120 accounts.

This all happened between October 30 and May (Nov?) 11 for using “unauthorized illegal program” while playing. The announcement does not explicitly clarifies the region from where the most amount of banned accounts hail from. The local gaming cafes over there have for long allowed players to freely inject third-party program for unfair advantage in online games, giving western developers severe headaches in return reports segmentnext.

“We will continue to strive to create a sound and fair game environment for our users,” PUBG Corp. stated. “We will do our best to become a PUBG that strives to provide better service.”

PUBG has so far used BattlEye as its primary anti-cheat system for profound results. It banned more than 42,000 accounts in a single day last month. However, it is always a matter of time before cheat-developers understand loopholes and begin evading the system.

There is no way though you'll be able to tell if someone is just using an ESP and careful about it... among other things.

Which is why I still think a demo-recording feature would be something they should implement (where you can freely spectate everything). Having killcams and live-spectate has too many exploitable downsides.

lets say 20 million sales, of the game, 200k cheaters caught.

that is 1% , lets double it to 2% and then factor in u only play with only a 100 people at a time, that leaves your odds of fighting on a server with a cheater extremely low

some mathematician has to do this for me, my brain would guess a one in a hundred games chance range.

and i think half those cheaters , where stream snipers/bug exploiters from the time when cars could drive throzgh all buildings.

Your math is off. 2% chance on a server with 100 people means you have 2 people on average that cheat. Now since this is a survival game and half the players die in the first 10 minutes, assuming most are non-cheaters for obvious reasons, that means you get 4% chance to encounter a cheater at the very least.

In fact, the better player you are, the higher the chance since again we assume that cheaters survive longer so you're more likely to encounter them later into the game. Since the circle draws smaller and smaller, you eventually WILL encounter them.

I play this game at quite a high rating and so far I only met 2 obvious cheaters. Both were using kar98k and headshoting people left and right. Of course I won't say that my experience is the standard, but usually with the shooters that have a competitive component and a higher skill cap, players throw left and right with cheating allegations.
