I always wondered, why soldiers on front of boat where not equipped with some kind of shield, so they don't get slaughtered immediately and protect rest of soldiers behind then? So much dead soldiers because of this.
Mg34/42 fires 20 to 25 rounds of 7.62 a second which would shred any shield the soldiers would be able to feild effectively.
hopefully it isn't bugged like the last game.
it was unplayable with arrow keys because of some weird delay when pressing the keys

i remember the first time i played unreal 1 in 98 or so, i used arrow keys cuz they had fucking arrows on them, a few days later a guy bitchslapped me and introduced me to the bliss of wasd, and i havent looked back ever since.

actually arrow keys is very common, especially for leftys. but those are strange persons at general (ok lets say bad persons ). but after games supported mouse for aming arrow keys became a special case (as i said normally for leftys). its very hard nowadays to play old shooters with the arrow keys like back in the days (i.e. wolfenstein,doom,hexen,heretic,duke3d etc)
how do you lean, reload, throw nade, switch weapons, crouch, jump, prone, sprint and probably something i forgot with the arrow keys tho? numpad? mmo mouse? I dont get it... with wasd you have everything on hand... also the keys are literaly is the same combination just a bit further left closer to important keys, why would you play with arrows???
Unless you forget that A is "go left" or something and you need the check the arrow symbol?

I don't know who the fuck came up with WASD, or why everyone started using it as the defacto mode, but they were off their meds. One slip during the heat of the moment and all your controls are FUCKED. If anything, ESDF would make far more sense, since you've got the bump on the F to keep you centered.
But yea, I've been using arrow-keys since WOLF-3D, and I don't plan on ever stopping (I'm right handed by the way). Arrow keys for movement, pinky on Right-Shift for Jump, Right-Control for crouch. Pointer finger on whatever you need on the Numpad 0-4. Important functions like sprint, melee, grenade etc. mapped to mouse and mouse thumb buttons.
It's a far superior control scheme as you always know exactly where your hand is, there's no chance of slipping and hitting the wrong key, ever.

@Immunity: yep, the bump on the f is the trick. lets a bit down the road again when mouse aiming was introduced. imho it was with quake. and they mapped sdf + rmb (as well as inverted looking) as standard. great choice, reasonable choice. honestly i dont know who came up with wasd. i never was able to play that way, i even skipped games (ok not much, and maybe not great games anyway) which didnt let me map move forward to the mouse button. gave up sometimes first for example with battlefield till i really had the time to "waste" time getting everything right, cause it always takes soo fucking long to remap everything for movement,vehicles,air vehicles etc pp. and the constant switching between sdf rmb to wasd for a vehicle is fucking annoying
