I've bought account for 1,7$. Works like a charm. Did the same with Andromeda back in March, and that account still works

Has there been any official mention of DLC roadmap, season pass shenanigans or the like? I'm in no hurry to play this polished turd so might as well wait for the inevitable complete release.

I've been waiting for a Japanese AC game since the original concept was revealed all those uears ago.
Apart from the terrible 2d mobile thing, the one setting that 'Assassin' would absolutely make sense being in has been quietly avoided. Perhaps they're afraid to go near it knowing expectations simply couldn't be met.

Played all day, level 21 now, shortly before Memphis. This truly is a great entry in the Assassins Creed franchise. I'm very happy they took their time and really put work into it. The world is so beautiful and stunning, I often just wander around and take in the views, which I rarely do in games.
And sneaking around the larger camps is exhilarating, sure the AI is not the best, but guards can spot you from quite far away when they look in your direction, they are not as blind as they used to be in older Assassins Creed entries.
Combat is not as challenging anymore as when I started playing, it's still quite easy, but it's way more fun than the old parry-execute style. And switching weapons frequently keeps it very fresh, the movesets are all very different. Even slaughtering your way through a pack of hyenas is fun and challenging in its own way.

Dunno but running a VM in a VM surely can't be good for performance....
this would explain how extremely CPU bound the game seems to be, seems like they are really desperate if they even risk gimpimg performance like that.

They only used their slightly modified custom VM bevore, now they use the full VMprotect on top of Denuvo including the VM which means they run a custom VM in a custom VM.

They better hope it never gets cracked then, because it'll be quite a shitstorm if legit customers find out they're getting a worse deal than pirates.

They just added another layer this doesn't do anything but delay the inevitable, they are not fixing their core vulnerability's since that would require them to rewrite the whole shit from scratch with a new approach and i doubt they can afford that atm.
