Wait, is that the size of the NTb release or the STRiFE one?

The last season's 8 episodes NTb 1080p release was around 25GB.

And finshed season 2, good overall ofc but s1 was better for me, this one is more action oriented, less scary, less mystery; and i dont know what was the point of those 2 new chars, completely useless, just like the episode with 008

I'm watching episode 1 now and I assume you're referring to mullet man and his sister? Laughing

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

So binge watched it. If the first season was 9.5./10 this was closer to 7-7.5/10 still very solid but too much of a nostalgia/shout out ride.

Spoilers - mostly things that bothered me so if you don't want to get biased don't read them.

Just finished it as well and it's a 7/10 for me. It was way more predictable and straightforward. Seeing Sam not as a hobbit is so strange.

6/10 for me, found that both season's were similar. The show nails 80's tropes masterfully, there are lots of callback's to classic and great movies I grew up with. That's were the good stops though, the story in both seasons is pretty weak and if you compare this to any of the original movies it emulates, it pales in comparison.

Just finished it and barring episode 7, I loved it. First season is by far the most memorable, but this was entertaining too.

I'm just curious as to how you guys feel about the GCI used on this show? Specifically the creatures effects?

Yeah i mean if the president did it (and it's trump we are talking about he 100% did coke or still does) it should be alright? Laughing

Anyway will give the new season a go tonight i hope it's as good as the first one.

Finished it... was ok but too much action compared with season one I believe. Think the original gained from letting things breathe now and again every few eps, this season feels like rapid fire.

I sometimes wished Americans knew when to call quits. Instead of ending things on a high note, they always insist on churning out more and more and more until ratings are so bad, they have to cancel and it really means very few series get a decent ending and most series end up so bad, it makes the initial first seasons look worse too.

The first season could have stood on its own and been a perfect classic. Now the second season is OK but lost some of its magic. Too much of it so far (watched the first 5 episodes) is just showing viewers what happened after the first season and that makes for far less interesting plot lines.

The first season opened with a bang followed by a slow revelation of what happened and was happening and that made for very interesting TV. The second is just a slow continuation with little surprises so far. When they announced a second season, I expected them to have a slightly more interesting plot line than what I'm seeing so far. It's not bad by any means, but it does pale in comparison with the first season.
