Just create a throwaway account, DL the torrent file on a machine at work or a library or something if you're really afraid that the site will blow up your PC with some superduper bitcoin miner( ) and go for the gold on the seyter and xatab repacks.
And I do mean gold torrents, they're the "freeleech" ones.

Anyone playing this on a 1060? Wondering if it's enough before downloading that absurdity.

Anyone know if this is up on newsgroups yet? I can only find a 26gb vers (packed) , which is obviously not it. Unless of course the compression is huge, which I doubt.
Thanks

Wait a min... people are actually excited to play this cancerous piece of garbage. Yup, I'm really surprised by that.

I saw that too. What kind of heresy is this? Opening up the initial rars shows a 103GB ISO file. Is that kind of compression even possible? Or is it a trap? |
I can confirm it is not it, or at least incomplete. It will turn up later I expect. |
Looks like that particular listing is being updated as we speak. What we got was .rxx set. There's also a .sxx set afterwards and a .txx set (and I expect another letter after that). So, it's coming, but slowly. Basically it's a monstrously huge .rar set
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

The hate is real here. From what I've read it sounds like the company started murdering puppies and forcing people to watch it.

As someone that loves Tolkien and someone that actually really liked the first one and played it close to completion, I am surprised as well. It's not because of all the shit they pulled marketing wise and what not, but simply because the game looks utterly boring. Was watching a stream and I just couldn't understand why one would play it. It just looks like more of the same (which I don't actually want, had my fun with the first and it was enough), but there's even more "open-world the game" shit thrown at you constantly. Orc density seems a bit much too... I don't know, this game just seems like work and not fun to me. I have no desire to play it, even though I did at some point pre-release.

Can agree with that, still imho everyone who supports such shady lootboxes is a fool. This stuff has no place in a triple a game, dont you agree ?
I for myself cant wait foranother gameinsdustry crash since the way it goes is just bad. Microtransactions are the cancer of the industry as its just ripping people off.
Yes im no saint either and i invested 100 bucks in fortnite. Tho its different as i want to support epic games in a early access game that is still in development. But when i see people throwing 2000-4000$ into it i just facepalm.
This on the other hand is a singleplayer game and allready a finished product, there shoudnt be such a thing.
I liked the first one, even bought it when it was on sale. Yet this one i will gladly boycott, same goes for STBF 2 and AC:O. STFB just because its EA (have a hate against them since they fucked over my beloved C&C franchise).
Just my 2 cents
//EDIT
From my various friends in fortnite which i played and talked with, there are numerous people who are gambling addicted and they are wasting hundreds of dollars in all kind of lootboxes. And this is exactly what the companies are aiming for, they dont want to help the casual gamer, they are going for the people who would sell their grandmas for another lootbox only to not get what they want. This should be forbidden by law (like restricting the amount you can spend within a certain timeframe for example).

It's been getting better for me though, skyrim I bought at launch but for FO4 I held out for months after the release

Has anyone tried the 3dm version of the gold edition yet? It has just hit the newsgroups and weighs in at nearly 20 gigs less than the codex version
