Should be on the mainpage soon as well.

Don't try to use fullscreen on Nvidia atm crashes immediately due to a bug.

Yep, upscaling is a wonderful thing.

Now they just need to add some shaders and the graphics on DS3 level. Very Happy

Mine broke ages ago and sometime in the future most of the remaining machines will be gone as well, this isn't just about playing old games it's about preserving them ( in 4k/60 fps ofc Laughing )

I just wanted to add that the Cemu with the new updated graphics packs and new Nvidia drivers have made MK8 and Zelda more then playable!! They even updated the cutscene movies to 1080p instead of 720p. Assorted hacks and hooks have also created a very smooth quality experience. I was really considering buy a WiiU or Switch but I am sure glad I didn't!! Very Happy

Looks like it should be resolved as soon as this commit makes it into the project, was submitted about 45 minutes ago so hopefully it won't take too long to be merged in. Smile

C'mon you should know better then asking here, you know the rules.
Also just typing "Demon's Souls iso" in to google and clicking on the very first result was enough in my case...

Was playing some duck tales in recalbox and this weird issue appeared.
 Spoiler:

I remember it happening back when we had a crt tv when I was a kid. But I don't remember how we solved it.
Hard to goggle for it as I don't know the name of the issue.

Edit: the issue just solved it self.
Would still like to no why it happens and how it can be avoided.
bonus info: I use a special version of recalbox from rgb-pi. So the game boy was not running in full screen. instead only a small portion in the center of the screen is used. might this be the cause of the issue.

Cemu and Breath of Wild are running like 100% awesome now. I had to stop a while back because the memory issue caused so bad FPS drops. Got it running full speed on 1440p and the memory usage on my systme stays around 10GB (got the emulator running on a 2GB ramdisk)

Latest build? I wanna test it.

New NVIDIA Driver 387.92 Improves CEMU BOTW Performance by Lowering RAM Usage by up to 50%

Nice. Developer exzap had a Nvidia support ticket up several months ago about the dynamically generated shaders in Cemu taking insane amounts of RAM on Nvidia hardware compared to Intel or AMD, maybe Nvidia finally fixed that.

Yep, that's what nVidia fixed. It's a bonus mainly for people with little RAM.

@JackQ The fix is mostly on nVidia's side, but it should run pretty flawless in the current public version. Stereo audio has also been fixed, so I don't think there's anything relevant left to be waiting for. Smile

20+ gb was not uncommon bevore with a 8700 shader file so this is a huge improvement, it's around 10gb now for me.

There isn't much room for improvement on the emulator itself anymore unless the devs finally decide to move to Vulkan (and they don't have any intention to do so last i heard), tests indicate that OpenGL is the limiting factor atm (draw call CPU overhead).
1.9.x will likely be the peak in performance for a while, 1.10 is allrdy a bit slower cause of the better audio core and other more accurately emulated elements.
That said if your CPU was Haswell+ architecture or a Ryzen you would likely see a pretty big boost since they are a lot faster in emulation compared to a Ivy Bridge.

Yes unless sub 30 fps in some areas with a lot of NPCs (Towns,Stables) in which you maybe spend a few minutes tops is a huge problem for you, note that the actual WII U version spends a not insignificant time locked at 20 fps (Switch as well but far less).
With the dynamic fps mod in cemu you will likely not even really notice small dips under 30 fps.

In other news: https://www.reddit.com/r/cemu/comments/75kqcp/the_next_cemu_release_will_support_native_online/
online play will likely be the development focus for a while.

I'm on the same system (well, GTX1070, but the GPU really doesn't matter that much) and I finished Botw months ago. But back then there was some flickering and regular crashes every few hours, now you will be more than fine.

OpenGL is still primarily single threaded or single core isn't it? Then again so are emulators and the platforms they are emulating so just implementing VLK and D3D12 support isn't automatically going to fix it.
(Aside from for AMD I guess because their OpenGL implementation while functional is slow as hell or so it would appear at least. Very Happy )

Additional CPU and GPU improvements would be useful, though open sourcing the emulator and getting code commits from more people and perhaps API support for low-level would likely not hurt, might hurt their Patreon donation amounts though for people donating bare minimum for getting the early access releases.

EDIT: Well the PS3 and XBox emulators would be using more cores.
