Exactly.. by the time people had actually played it.. the sale had been made. And it's Mass Effect. The hype was real, and the expectations were through the roof. It would have sold even if it was just a planet walking simulator.

Its official
Quote: | Since the release of Mass Effect™: Andromeda, we’ve worked hard to address feedback from our community. From improving animations to expanding customization options, we looked to respond to your concerns, and build on what you loved.
With each patch, you let us know we were heading in the right direction, and we're grateful to everyone who joined us on this journey. We're proud of what we created, and we hope you enjoyed it as well.
Early in development, we decided to focus Mass Effect: Andromeda’s story on the Pathfinder, the exploration of the Andromeda galaxy, and the conflict with the Archon. The game was designed to further expand on the Pathfinder’s journey through this new galaxy with story-based APEX multiplayer missions and we will continue to tell stories in the Andromeda Galaxy through our upcoming comics and novels, including the fate of the quarian ark.
Our last update, 1.10, was the final update for Mass Effect: Andromeda. There are no planned future patches for single-player or in-game story content.
In the coming weeks, our multiplayer team will provide details of their ongoing support and upcoming content, including new multiplayer missions, character kits, and what’s in store for N7 Day.
We appreciate all the millions of people who came with us to the Andromeda galaxy. We hope to see you again in the Mass Effect universe.

so theyve finally thrown in the towel.
also i genuinely believe that they are proud of what they made. everything else they say is marketing bullshit, but that little piece i think is the honest truth. this is the game they wanted to make.
sadly just wasnt the game anyone wanted to play or made to the standard anyone should realistically expect from a AAA game.

You can still have it, now just in poorly drawn comic book form.

at least it'll look better graphically than it would have in the game.

EA's Patrick Soderlund thinks Mass Effect: Andromeda criticism was a little unfair
Soderlund believes that Mass Effect will be back.
Quote: | "I usually don't do this, but this is one of those places where I feel like the game got criticized a little bit more than it deserved. I think the game is actually a great game. Yes, we have to acknowledge the fact that there were some things that maybe we could have done better, absolutely, but as a whole, if you go in and you buy the game today with everything that's in it today, I believe that that's a game worth buying, personally," Soderlund said.
"So that's the first thing I'll say. The [second] thing I'll say is, for Mass Effect as a franchise, that has such a big fanbase, and you know I've seen people saying 'Oh, EA's not making another Mass Effect'. I see no reason why we shouldn't come back to Mass Effect. Why not? It's a spectacular universe, it's a loved [series], it has a big fanbase, and it's a game that has done a lot for EA and for BioWare." |

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Of course they will make another game. Would be dumb if not.
It's all just marketing by making people sad and saying the franchise is over.
And then we get a new game and every preorders and cums on their faces out of excitement.

It works with trial saves and a repacked version with CODEX crack (patched through 1.10). I think it will work with any release as long as the saves are in the same folder (and of course the game versions are the same).

I use sweetfx, it does that to me sometimes, fixed after disabling VSync.
I had somewhat high hopes for this, but boy it's just another DA:I in space. The same grinding, filler shit and worst part is that they force you to actually do stuff for "more %" so you can set the outpost.
Trying to stick to companion sidequests and main story, but even those are a chore, when you have to travel from planet to planet ..

There's a lot of really good people inside of BioWare who spoke up on this stuff," he said. "This is what happens when, I think, you have a homogeneous leadership. The leadership of Mass Effect: Andromeda was all white men." |

Awww look at the beach shitting manveer trying to be relevant once more. Little code monkey putting grass for 24h a day thinking he was the shit.
Imagine hiring a guy like that. Everything you do gets analysed and turned into a race discussion. Must be fun at the office.
