They are not p2p, the matchmaking is p2p, but its using dedicated servers, they just dont give you a server browser.. i havent had a single migration or lag tbh.
I call bs on that. I played a couple of rounds now, to get enough footage for a review and I've witnessed migrations, rare yes, but mostly I have had a LOT of bad connections, i.e. packet loss showing on screen etc.
IF those are dedicated servers I have played on, they must be from back of the COD1 days.
Also, the hit detection/boxes/"net code" are hilarious. Just check carefully the kill cam, especially the last of the round which is in slow-mo and count how many shots that are counted as "hits" weren't even close to the target. I think I am going to make a whole video just about that lol.
And for the LMG, don't run and gun, just deploy it and mow down everything that comes into your line of sight.
Hard to be effective with the LMG when in less than a minute, the enemy starts spawning in your back coupled with the small ass maps they're on you in no time and even though everything is fast in the game, dismounting your LMG actually takes time.
Meh.... It's getting review bombed on steam and for good reason.

The singleplayer of the Call of Doodies is often good enough for some brainless fun.
But the multiplayer (which the beta here is for) is just the same uninnovative trash since after COD4.

Last CoD I tried SP in was Blops 1/2. It was horrible. Really really bad SP imo.
Since blops2 I've only liked Advanced and Infinite warfare campaigns

I was playing CoD mainly for mp, but this is just terrible. Imho it looks good and so it runs, without issue (maxed, 1080p 80+ fps) on my 3yo potato. But the gameplay... total unbalanced spray and pray fagotry with people running aroud at mach 2 speed... I mean the movement is faster than it was in Black Ops 3 which took place like 100y later and people were running with rockets on their arses...
I have canceled my preorder and already got my money back from cdkeys. So thanks for the beta I think...
He is right. Especially about someone being 20 years old not knowing for anything better. These people never experienced good games so what else they can praise?

Maybe they should experience some good games then? This is hardly an excuse. The first RPG I played was NWN, I didn't judge RPGs based on my experience with NWN. I went and played the classics after that.
Yeah, they should, but you and me both know that they won't. If it's not easy to play, doesn't have tons of unlocks and explosions every 10 seconds they won't touch it.
And the sad reality is, those old, but good games are mostly empty nowadays.

That being said, I played some Forgotten Hope (1 not 2!) a MOD for a 15-year-old game and it still had several servers with 64/64 players. Some might be bots, but when I played, most people seemed like people.

So it's the same as with most Team Fortress 2 servers.
When i played it for a bit 1-2 years ago, i was surprised how healthy all of the servers were visited.
Only several days later did i notice, that most people i played with and against were bots.

For SP they are all alright. CoD was always a good choice when you just wanted mindless shooting so just go one by one and that's it. But if i had to chose one to avoid or something that would be MW3. I even liked Ghosts more than MW3.
