Hey guys! I've recently played Steamworld Dig 2, and found that i've missed this type of game and enjoyed it immensely .

So, i'm currently looking for more games that play the same. I like the progression with new mechanics added every once in a while, the whole selling materials to buy upgrades was nothing new sure, but really worked for the game.

Anything else like it? I'm already playing Hollow Knight and also downloaded Ori & The blind Forrest.

Many great games have already been mentioned, I'd add: Axiom Verge, Teslagrad, Spelunky/Rogue Legacy (roguelike, but good ones), Shadow Complex, Dex for a more RPG-like approach, Mark of the Ninja / Gunpoint / Ronin if you want something more stealth-oriented.

Still in EA, but one to keep an eye on.

@Ampee, you forgot Blackhawk/Blackthorne. But that's ok since Earthworm Jim's such a groovy guy. Very Happy

Just finished Hollow Knight with the true ending. FUCK ME that was amazingly difficult, but so satisfying. Also the white palace is built upon frustration, i wish to both strangle and congratulate the designer of that level.
