Going by the name I guess this is the video series showcasing free camera in some games and what goes on between scenes and cinematics, Witcher 3 has a pretty good built-in one when unlocked which was used heavily during the se..story cinematics. Razz

There are some clever solutions used in a few games and sometimes downright terrible ones, Witcher 3 primarily suffered from a animation glitch related to LOD and NPC which has seen a number of screens and videos though for the normal game you are unlikely to see this effect.

The streaming system is pretty fantastic too, eventually it'll stop when you go too far but it is possible to fly around the entirety of e.g Skellige and have it load towns and such as you get close but it usually won't load NPC or other actors like creatures until the player is there physically. Very Happy
(For movement that is several times that of walking or riding the pop-in isn't too bad either.)

Noclip is a documentary series by Danny O'Dwyer Very Happy

Oh diving into the entire series then? That could be very interesting. Smile

EDIT: Wonder if there's anything on the early concept when you were just a witcher and not Geralt of Rivia.

Devil's Pit Mod offers you a chance to visit unused area of caverns located at the Devil's Pit quarry along with numerous enhancements to the area and additional content that can be enjoyed within the base game.

- Over 19 new items
- Additionally the caverns now contain a player stash and new place of power
- Besides all of above, Devil's Pit Mod also offers you an opportunity to test your skills against a mirror copy of your Geralt!
- Last but not least - the follower NPC. Player can purchase a mercenary contract from Thaddeus which will oblige Victoria to follow and serve Geralt for as long as he has the contract in his inventory.

I've finished Time of Contempt today, has to be my fav book to date. If CDPR caught at least 50% of Ciri's life in the game, would have been different. But, I think they needed a lot more games for that Very Happy

Now I feel an urge to play all 3 games again, get immersed in it's world again. Sad

Very good video Dan.

Would have been awesome if at the end they would teaser a Witcher 4.

OMFG, that video.

CDPR, please ... never change!

Very few gaming related things get shared on my FB (come to think of it, none thus far), but this did.

Fuck, guys. TW ... so many memories. Such a good time. Especially the third game. Came right after the hardest trauma of my life, will remember it always.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Sixteen free mini-DLC adding in stuff like new armor (I like the wolf set personally.) and little things like having decent hair and beard styles from barbers and some smaller contract quests.

Two paid DLC rivaling the length of some full price releases, first one expands the existing map with a new area for the player to discover and the second DLC has a entirely new territory and both can be jumped into immediately or explored from a existing game save. Smile

Blood and Wine also features one of the most impressive cities in a RPG game or perhaps a modern game period, it's extremely densely detailed and populated and there's a good number of full interior buildings too while various tricks keep resource usage at bay and maintain performance even if the city environment is a bit heavier on the GPU than how most of the rest of the game was. Smile
(Also provides tweaks to other environmental details including improvements to grass and water though some of this does not carry over to the base game without the use of mods.)
