i want to throw up at everything that has to do with lotr or hairy poter,never had a stomack to watch a single one of them to the half of the movie,i'm not even talkin about games,but that just me,they might as well make movie out of warcraft & it would looked 10 times better despite it's just a game didnt had a book or anything
i knew one guy he was obssesed with lotr ,had all those series on all kinda dvd editions, posters all over the house,even in the toilet & bathroom lol

Yeah, i'm sure it's difficult to appreciate LOTR when you haven't got the attention span to read through one page.

Nothing happens when i launch the game, gets stuck at the star wars eaw demo screen...

if you just leave it for a bit it will eventualy load up, happened to me that, just left it for a abot a 60 secs.

This is an excellent game indeed. Most rpgs lack continuity. After you build a base and destroy the enemy you have to start over again and do the same thing on a new map. But eaw lets you build and defend bases you can get back to a planet you've already conquered and repell the enemys attack etc
Will grab this for sure, time to crush the rebellion and expand the empire!

me too.. kinda sucky graphics.. controls.. performance problems... no RTS only RTT(no builders/real-time mining for money)... in space it is to simplyfied no control over the camera(witch suxx)... if they don't do something this is gonna be an awful game

? Well, reading the tutorials and the readme would help.
Real 3-d by pressing crtl+middle mouse button. Grouping like every game by ctrl+1/2/3/.
Special abilities of every unit on the control bar < just taken outen Vergesso only with the two starting x-wings and two y-wings + han solo in the millenium falcon.
Well units are limited but there will be about 8-9 ground units + 12-more space units per faction. So not less then other games. Graphics are not highend but very good and you see enough details. So if bfme2 is not reinventing strategic games it can squirl off.

First mod second version is out. It lets you build new buildings, Assault frigate, A-Wing, Heavy Tank and Snowspeeder. Buildings are useless and the snowseeder cannot be deployed on Tatooine but the Tank rocks and the Frigate and A-wings are nice to view.
