Drifting in PCars 2, tested the RX8, ehhhh nah. Ive never driven a light short base vehicle as the madbull but the way the wheel behaves is so weird, couldnt do shit. Assetto still reigns in drifting simulation.
Other than that, the other cars felt nice in my 10 min test.

Tested the codex version and this game doesn't look worse than PCars 1. You have even more options to customize your racing experience (like season). I also like the new handling model and the AI was not as crazy as in that video. If I had my wheel attached I'd record some video

I find the A.I. about as dumb as in the first one. Still better than some other racing games but yeah on a dead stop the fools don't go around you and sometimes they are a bit too sticky on their line.
As to the handling I quite like a lot of classes but meh... my beloved karting feels off. Tracks I'm used off in the first one I just can't handle them well. That being said, apart from F1 2017 its been a while since I raced some so might just be me needing to get back into things.
First drive I went on Lånkebanen during storm with some GT class Porsche... usually the extreme is a good way to get a bit familiar.  |

I directly went to my beloved formula c around the nürburgring with some rain... and it feels very different to pcars (and I'd say the AI is a little bit better than in the first game, definitely a competition for me, which doesn't say much of course  ). I like it a lot. Just waiting for the stupid microsoft store to work again so that I can try the forza 7 demo to decide which one I'm going to buy :'(

I should also add that I have set the head bump and g-force stuff all to max. You might like less gforce impact on the driver

Anybody having issues with gamepad not working in race ?
I use a ps3 controller for every game and for this one. It works in the menus and everything, but as soon as I enter a race, no controls, no button works.
I have tried resetting them, went to keyboard, saved, got back chose both gamepads option and both work in menus not in game.
Anyone ?
