It should work. I tried it earlier where I was able to have 2 incarnates with a single character and like 3-4 totems at a single time. Totems are less powerful and need surface to work but Incarnates are good. Very Happy

Did anyone manage to find all unique items from act 1? Surprised

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I'm enjoying the summoner. It's weird, but if you play it smart, it can be pretty powerful. I don't think you can have two incarnates out, however, not on a single character at least (not sure if other characters can have theirs). Whenever I summon another one, my first one disappears, even if it still has some rounds left.

In the fight with the crockos I had an incarnate and 3 turrets and it felt pretty good Very Happy I wish we could control totems somehow, though, but maybe that would've been an overkill. The AI is not terrible (it focused on one beast that could've killed one of my characters, when it had low HP).

If what i saw so far i accurate till the highest skill rank (probably 10), then you should have 5x10 spells/abilities per skill.
Though that seems quite a bit, considering the amount of different skills. Surprised

I think the best way for now to check all spells is to go in the Game Master mode. Then use the premade tutorial one called "The Hungry Journey" and at the bottom of the screen menu there is "GM Skills" (or press "K" key). Now from it you can see every spell, including the special ones for origin characters and even monster spells, ordered by type, tier or memory cost. The weapon schools have 15 spells and the magic ones have 19+. There is some bug in the spells' descriptions as I see most Scoundrel skills to be Strength based but in game it says Finesse.

You can also edit some encounter characters in this campaign an see the max number for various stuff like the max character level and abilities (for Combat it's 10 while Civil is 5). A lot of other cool things to check as well (there are 58 different statuses!) but can also spoil the fun of discovering.

Some little ui mods/tweaks i made:
Bolder fonts+UI scaling

Controller UI with KB/M Dialog window instead of the stupidly huge default one.

It's just a simple stat check like in every RPG you put points in it and if it's high enough it works if not it fails.

Yep, fails pretty much all the time for me too.

Besides having a high value in the attribute, do you ALSO need to level up the persuasion skill?

In regard to spells/skills, Swen mentioned you can combine some skills to make new ones altogether. I found a book that when used, it makes the target bleed fire. It was on a vendor though.

@IamAwsome in regards to polymorph, if you get it to 2nd tier you can sprout wings as one of the skills which enables you to really move around the battlefield well. Might be worth it for you melee or ranges chars to get into better positions.

Yea, i'm about to leave the Starter island soon it seems, but so far the story didn't really grasp me.
I'm much more enjoying the combat too, and the exploration.

And what i dislike is that if you try to be mean in conversations you never really can gain something out of it. Quite the opposite, that people don't talk to you anymore and you might miss out on a quest.

Pretty dumb that you can't really play an evil character in that sense.

Much better than the first game that had crappy "humor" all over it, but there is still definitely room for improvement.

Thanks, guys. Very Happy The game seems to have ~200+ spells.

http://divinityoriginalsin2.wiki.fextralife.com/Skills

Summoning with buffs is so OP. I hope Polymorph gets better soon.

@Sin317 - location?

@Mister_s - writing is better the previous game but story, I don't know. I already lost track of it. Laughing Sad

That memory leak/save game problem has stopped me from playing this further until a patch is released to fix it. Shame since the game has been great so far. Oh well, guess I should have learned by now not to play CRPGs so close to release.

@IamAWESOME

I wouldn't say it's OP especially considering enemies' AI. I think that the other spells and school of magic are underwhelming. Laughing

I posted something on the previous page, which seems to have fixed the problem for me:

Yeah I tried that and some other stuff. A lot of people have reported this issue on steam and Larian's forums. Devs say they are working on it.

Though props to that enemy, as it kept combo-casting like a badass. Laughing
