I don't know, i really like this.
Can't say i've played a lot of Anime games and this one looks really good to me. (for now at least)

Location design seems really bad from that video Sad
Also, i expected faster gameplay than this since we play as anime characters.

I love Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but with the setting of this game it just seems off.

Perhaps a stand-in for co-op so it's AI driven whenever you solo?
(Or it's just some plot thing, opening doors or some such while trying to look like it's doing something of value.)

There is no Co-op.
You choose if you want to have companion or not (they've said it in some previous video), but for not it just seems useless.
