Also bought Premium pass for 29$ From Origin itself.
Really? I thought they killed that regional pricing workaround. Still showing as $50 here.

In this era of advanced technology you'd think they allow choosing the character - from the specific team - you play with, be it D'shawn, Natasha, Hans, Guillaume or other...
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
So this is what its come to? A 10 player mode in a Battlefield game?

the game is not meant to be played 5v5, not design around this, adding a new game mode dosent mean much. for the same reason you dont see 32v32 player mode in cod
New textures, up to 4096x4096 resolution.
New particle effects (dust, smoke, explosion, etc)
New water effects
New higher resolution reflections on some objects.
Higher quality LOD
New skybox (upscaled for now + minor tweaks)
New, more detailed shadows on most objects.
Advanced shaders thanks to ReShade.
What's the problem? They ADD a new game mode, that many have asked for a long time. They don't cut anything or change anything...
Are we now bitching for additional free content?
StEFaN7 pretty much hit the nail on the head when he answered that for me...

DICE makes the same mistake when it implements "hardcore" mode in the newer Battlefields. You can't just remove the HUD, double the damage so sniper toe shots are now 99% lethal, and call it "hardcore". It's lazy. It's stupid. And it doesn't do the series justice.
Beyond that, I've been with the series since Battlefield: Vietnam - and I'm heartbroken every year to see the direction its been slipping in. So when I see shit like this, I call it out.

Forgotten Hope did this almost 15 years ago and IMHO better.
Not to shit on bf1942, but the vanilla game wasn't really the greatest thing.
The mods for it were, notably Forgotten Hope and of course Desert Combat, which was so popular, they hired those guys to help them make Battlefield 2.
There are also some re-shader tools/mods out for 1942, which makes the HD mod kind of redundant.
Yup! One problem though, the models and textures of FH1 were so good, that they always stood out like crazy due to the lowres envoirements. (Anyone remember the Barbie Tiger? )
I really wish, they would make a new proper WW2 BF, focused on VEHICULAR WARFARE!
I don't mind a couple "city" maps, like Stalingrad, Berlin etc. but give us some wide open maps with nothing but tanks and planes and trucks and whatever. Desert Maps, Kursk, Battle of the Bulge etc. etc.

He's being sponsored by EA to make these vids, kinda hard to say no to all that currency. But it's nice to see that even with all the shilling youtubers are doing for the game, it still doesn't help the player count.
Because console players usually have far lower demands and expectations from games, especially fps games.
BF1 is completely fucked up with premium pass and while a big number of PC players realised that, console players are fine with it because the game looks nice and has destruction.
Player base is completely split between non-premium and premium users and a lot of players (including me) lost any will to play this game any further. And Premium pass is terrible, maps look nice and all of that, but design wise they are bad and most of the content is locked behind some stupid unlocks and crates. Fuck that.
Since i've bought PS4 6 moths ago i started visiting PS subreddits and omfg are 90% of people there stupid, just plain stupid and not capable of logic thinking. Most of them adores the games the BF turned into so it's no surprise the game is bigger there.

Standard owners can be brought on the premium maps by the owners of the premium pass.
The new weapons are indeed available only for the owners of the Premium Pass.
The crates only unlock skins. Nothintg to truly care about.
Each rank in a class or an overall rank will give you bonds. Bonds are used to buy weapons. Certain weapons will unlock according to a certain rank. Also, some weapons can be unlocked doing certain in-game quest (50 kills + 50 repairs and such).
Maps overall encourage camping and sniping. A good team still can overcome the sniper spam. Some are nice though. Love the chaos on Nivelle Nights and on Tsarytsin. Most of those maps are sort of corridor maps, but again, it's WW1. Camping is logical now:P
