Today I got hit by a car while I was inside a house, the netcode keeps getting better and better.
That's not new though. Was already the case in the Beta which is why I learned pretty quick to keep some distance between myself and the obstacle I intended to use to prevent being run over by vehicles
First time this happened to me, car was coming, saw it early enough, at least I thought so, went behind a rock to evade it but I pressed my character against the rock. The car rams the rock on the opposite side and apparently killed me
Yesterday i had lvl 3 helmet and armor, all the medical supplies with Scar fully upgraded and Kar98 upgraded with both having silencer on. 8x on Kar and 2x or Red dot on Scar depending on situation. More or less it was the best gear you can have. Ofc i got killed few moments later after collecting all of that -.-
I feel like i do better with just some basic gear than the best you can have. Damn game
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro | AMD Ryzen 5800X3D + be quiet! Dark Rock 4 | KFA2 RTX 4080 | 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 @3600MHz | Samsung 860 Evo 500GB + 1TB + 10TB WD Blue | Corsair RM750x | LG 27GL83A + LG 27GL850 | Fractal Define R6 | Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth | DeathAdder Chroma
This used to happen to me as well and still does sometimes. It's probably some subconscious reaction, we feel too safe when we have good gear and we end fucking up.
Playing Duo with Pax be like:
Pumpy: "Pax be careful, they might come over the hill!"
Pax: "Oh, enemy, lets pew pew from 800m distance with VSS." and moves 150m away to some position where I can't even see him.
Then another enemy hears his shots, comes over, stands right next to him, shoots him in the face and pax goes "I thought we should cover for the hills, why didn't you cover?!"
I guess you are the kind of player who sucks at CoD / BF / skill based shooters, but are only good in PUBG/DayZ/etc...
Because in PUBG it's about chaos, not about skill.
Where other games are like chess, that means better players always win, PUBG is more like Poker, good players tend to have an above average statistical advantage that cannot be accounted for using 100% random probability, but the dominant factor still is and remains luck or bad luck first, skill second.
But you can't hit them either. You want to move your little pointy dot on the enemy, press "kill" and want him dead in an instant. But your bullets travel, your weapon has weight, so does your player. Your weapons will get stuck at walls and closeby objects.
You lack situational awareness in open space and are damaged by arena shooters with a limited space and a fixed layout. In the open you are clueless as where to expect danger from and try to concentrate on what you can see only. This works in your arena, combined with your arena knowledge. But in the open field you have to adapt. You have to take into account where the position of the circle is, where you are and what the desire of your enemies is. Hiding in bushes is good. Hiding in the last bush in the last circle? Not so good! (I speak out of experience )
I guess experience will train you over time, but you have to stop applying your quake tactics to an open area with changing dynamics. This is also skill. Skill isn't only pointing your trigger at the enemy and clicking at the right time.
Pretty basic loadout:
Backpack LVL3,
Helmet LVL2,
Armor LVL1,
AKM + Acog, 120 Rounds, no extra attachments,
M416 + Acog, 90 Round, no extra attachments,
Facemask,
Revolver + Silencer,
Crowbar,
6 Energie Drinks,
10 Bandages and 2 First Aid Kits
0 Kills up until the last 5 minutes and got chicken dinner with 7 kills (FPP)
But something is wrong with Geforce experience, it is shown ingame but I can't launch it, nor does it record my kills :'(
Edit:
Apparently GeForce Experince auto "saved" my kills anyhow, but look at this:
Only the last kill is saved, the other files just contain 5-6 frames and nothing else. There is one double kill and one tripple kill in them and none of them are stored, only my last kill #7 :'(

tl;dr you are shit at adapting?!
I mean, I thoroughly enjoy both worlds but I feel like being good and fast at adapting to unforseeable circumstances / chaos is alot more impressive than being skilled in limited, static and repetitive circumstances. Same goes for aiming... twitchy shooters where musclememory is more important than actual precision.
