What I don't understand is why are the makers of the show forcing themselves to finish GOT so fast? Couldn't they make a ninth season, so that they don't have to rush things?

Before they had source material and were able to stretch things out and do things.
Now they don't so they're back to basic tv writing. Shows they didn't really understand the characters at all. So right now it's just fanfic as to what they'd want to see, how they'd want to see it and not what actually should happen. That's it.
So they're rushing the series/show/characters because god forbid the book comes out and it negates everything they did they'll have to restructure everything. So go full on fanfic, appease the fans and do a dexter.

I'm still expecting that the undead will also magically gain one or more Undead Dragons.
Also how stupid is it, that those frosty undeads are immune to dragon fire?

The books never say they are immune, bad wording from me. They can subdue fire and they can control weather/cold. In a world with dragons breathing fire and magic dead cold guys, how is it stupid? Even if these things were not know, expecting Daenerys to let one of her dragons go into the unknown based on some guy's words would be dumb.

As for the dragons going against the dead army, that would be stupid. In the books they're pretty much immune to fire, I don't remember if they showed it in the show (i.e. do the characters know?). Honestly i'm just waiting on Little finger to die, i'm guessing this season. He's done fuck all for 2 seasons now and is totally redundant. Its obvious when the books ended, that the show writers have no idea what to do with complex characters. I am so fucking disappointed with how they handled LF after the books ended.
I'm calling it. He's dead in the next two episodes. The worst part is that he was so pointless in the last 2 seasons that i won't even care, which is disappointing for such a major character.

i think thats why he wont die. the show has always gone for shock, so killing off a character thats hardly even featured wont have any kind of impact. if they want to kill him, they'll have to build him back up first.
id be pissed if arya killed him. that'd be so retardedly predictable.
littlefinger is one of the few characters that i want to survive the show.

We might actually get a good quality leak. Last version I've seen was on dailymotion and had the full episode with good video quality but poor audio. It's watchable for people who don't feel like waiting.
