@Pey
It actually looks way better than in the previous videos.
Could you disable the celshading? Or are those the default visuals?

There is no option to disable celshading, that's how the game looks

All the graphics settings are in the gallery.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

PC version also seems to have performance issues. 45fps on GTX 1080 while driving. Sad

Actually, there are no microtransactions. That menu in requisitions simply takes you to the Steam store to buy DLC content, none of which is actually out on day one (besides the bonuses for pre-ordering which are not yet for sale.) I do understand why he mistakenly thought that though. The wording of the menu is a bit unclear, and other streamers have also assumed (incorrectly) that there are microtransations.

Pretty much every review seems to be actually positive with gameplay. The humour is hit or miss, but that was like always with Saints Row games.

The problem is it with the open world and challenges, which seem to grow old quickly. The lack of co-op and performance issues doesn't help.

well from what i read the structure is basically the same as SR aka do challenges to unlock missions
as for lack of coop io dont see it working with the gameplay twist they did (well maybé both players having 3 agents and shit but who kows what they have planned for DLCs)

Hmm. Not really good or super bad. The game is fun and has quite a good amount of content & customization which is quite cool. A lot of agents and stuff to unlock and everything works well at a higher difficulty (up to 15).

But I can see it getting really boring or repetitive after a couple of hours. The driving is meh and so is the world. Dead and flat. Just neon colours with few dead people walking around here and there with no interaction what so ever. The cars feel like some box placed on wheels.

The humour is okay but it's the voice that isn't good. The music is generic.

The map itself looks very small. Not sure if it expands later or not.

The performance is poor. At least it doesn't run well for me despite turning off ALL nVidia features and settings to medium-high. During combat and driving the frame-rate drops/stutters which kind of kills the mood to even bother.

Overall it is just a very average package despite some decent gameplay and customization. Nothing outstanding. Shame. Sad

Gameplay is top notch. Lots of fun, even challenge rooms (wrecking room). I've got performance issues on my 1080, found the culprit though, it's Nvidia HTFS, whatever that is. Turn that off and i'm sitting at refresh rate (144hz).

Few crappy effects, like the fuzzy cellshading outline, but you can turn that off. Unfortunately didn't find the setting for the reaally fuzzy motion blur at highspeeds.

Loving the game so far. It's a crying shame that Gat isn't part of the base game, he's the #1 agent to play this game for.

I got a pretty cheap copy with all the DLCs included off of hkrgame at 33 euros, for whoever wants to buy it, to be clear, i'm not offering to purchase the game for you haha.

Also Lazarus, the other DLC agent, seems to be console exclusive? I don't have access to that one.

Should have been unlocked world-wide actually far as I know. Smile

EDIT: And yeah around 32 Euro here via Gamesplanet though GreenManGaming has a similar price though it's gated behind their "VIP" system and then a discount code that expires on the 20th.

Whereas Steam wanted straight up 60 so a pretty decent discount but you can probably find even better deals with a little digging.

Depending on the amount of D in the game or how to put it then a actual crack or at least a workaround with a added license might not be too far out either.

They did release a little hotfix yesterday fixing a breaking bug, a bigger patch is planned for next month.

Game is a bit simple though so there might not be too many players left in a month or two, but they have a modding branch going and Volition tends to be supportive so fan made content might add a bit to the game. Smile
