At work, our exhibition use oculus rift has shitloads of scratches in the lenses, even deep ones, and you cannot see them when using it.

I got the Widmovr, mostly because it was cheaper. It works ok but, since you have to wrap some bands around the face plate where it sits in the Rift, it makes it the face plate pop off pretty regularly. Maybe I don't have it on right.

Ok the damn thing should be here next week.
I already downloaded some free stuff from shitty oculus store and steam.
What paid stuff I might want? (seems there are no isodemo for any of that)
I will probably want to buy: h3vr, lone echo, superhot,

Thanks.
Some people said that rift headset is ok on usb2. Isn't there a lot more information though than on sensors?
Touch controllers are connected to rift and sound.

You will love the controls btw it feels natural to just pick them up..even if you have never held them before |
Yup, tried it out at the little game museum in Stockholm a few weeks ago. Controllers fit like a glove and feel natural. Like I've been using it since forever. T'was pretty nice to finally experience VR. Only downside for me was the image quality/blur, so glad I never had the money to buy one
If that is eventually fixed with better HW, I'd happily own one. Now, I find it a bit much for what you get.
Still, you'll enjoy it KC!

I'm waiting for Quantum Entangled Glasses, so each pixel on the glass is changed depending on it's quantum entangled equivalent in a control box. I forsee no difficulties in this system and I have patented it forthwith

Incredible immersion, nice missions/stuff to do, really fun and amazingly well done.
 |
Just make sure you turn off all immersion shit. Make it least comfortable. Fucking amazing the .

This nice tool might help for text readability by using pixeldensity (aka super sampling) up to x2.0

few more questions:
Do I have to unplug hmd when not using?
Since I have everything on usb2, is it worth geetting usb3 pci/pcie card? (I have 2 cameras and touch) Which one (innateck not abailable in Poland it seems)
Why nobody told me that rec room is secretly the best app lol. Paintball is great.
I do not have space so I put cameras on speakers on side of monitor, seems to work well. It gets surprisingly more coverage than expected 180. Almost full circle. Those cameras do some work.
Overall -I've been playing since I've got it like 10 hours ago. Almost whole time and it's crazy. Again - there is not much of screen door effect but mostly optics issues(chromatic ab, warping, fogging, god rays and so on.

jesus guys stop tempting me, my desk already looks like spaghetti, I don't need more cables!
I wonder what's the average time right now until you run out of games. 2-3 weeks?

Something like a week if I will be playing a day. Most of the stuff are gimmicks but they are so good, it's crazy
