Can you explain this one a bit? Is that a ground wire on the 2-wire plug?

The ground wires are those 2 black in the middle. The one with the switch is either the +5V or the +12V (but from its colour, i think is the +12V).

I use Bytecc BT-200 USB 2.0 to IDE Adapter, Works with 2.5", 3.5" HDD and 5.25" CD/DVD Drive

The USB 2.0 to IDE Drive Adapter implements a bridge between one USB port and one ATA or ATAPI based mass storage device port. The adapter supports all existing IDE/ATAPI devices such as Iomega Zip, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM and IDE hard drives.

make your internal CD\DVD drive to external.

also using a SIL0680 Chipset ATA controller card for my permanent optical drives.

everything working so far with DT4 of course Wink

Mount the starforce images with a 2nd pc's DT4 app, then share the drive. After that take your main pc and connect to the drive. Worked flawlesly here though only tried king kong :/
