Okay, lately i have had blast with Simulators, Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally mainly (love to drift and drive rally in sims), i´m about to buy wheel/pedal/shifter setup to myself. Now i want to get something good, i mean better than some plastic screeching shit, money is not issue, but i want to keep it below 1000 euros, and ofcourse "best bang for the buck" is always welcomed.

Option 1: I can get for 400 euros an T500RS, T3PA-Pro pedals, TH8A shifter, Wheelstand Pro V2 Deluxe (used for like 1 year, minor usage, in pretty much perfect condition), sounds very good deal to me.

Option 2: Buy completely new setup, need advice (Dont have room for extra seat setup, so i will use my AKracing Premium V2 with my sturdy table, or is the Wheelstand Pro V2 deluxe worth it?).

Im not interested in Logitech stuff, even tho they are good, but they look absolutely shit (G29 especially).

Thanks for answers, especially pax Smile

Anyway, will go "test drive" the used T500RS set, will buy it, if it is in the condition the seller saying it is, good deal and lots of cash can be transferred for my beer needs since my 7 weeks summer vacation starts next week ;0.

Well hard to advice when the last wheel I owned was 5 years ago and Logitech shit.

Don't think we have many of those enthusiasts around any more, probably more chance getting proper advice from multiple sources on a sim racing community site.

well, a used and most likely cheap affordable g25 (27/29) is still great

though option 1 sounds very good for that price too

Yes it is very good deal, all those combined costs here nearly 700 euros brand new. And if you want to "upgrade" that setup, then you need to go for Fanatec super expensive shit (over 1000 euros) or even more expensive pro sim stuff, but that starts to be too much for my needs, would put that kind of money to my own car instead.. Very Happy

I tried the Logitech Wheels. They feel _CHEAP_ compared to Fanatec (especially the FFB). And I also drove with pax's T500 and I really liked the mechanical gears compared to the plastic gearing I have on my Fanatec.

Been done some mods, changed wheel to real racing wheel (suede) and been making hydraulic analog USB handbrake (Modded Chinese hydraulic handbrake, everything works like I want it, spring is very stiff and feels good, need just wire Arduino pro micro and potentiometer so it acts as throttle). Gonna be so gud for drifting and rally.

Got yesterday everything working, the handbrake is so good for drifting in Assetto Corsa, this everything combined with Oculus Rift is so fucking nice (tho shifting and pulling the handbrake needs some training when you do it basically eyes closed Very Happy).
