I think this sets an absurdly dangerous precedent. Let's say this happened during the steam sale. That would mean hours, maybe days of lost revenue because of some idiot who decided to file a DMCA claim.

Guess I have a lot of reading to do, don't even know who that person is or why this is such a thing but apparently there's been a string of takedown DMCA orders culminating with what that video in the Reddit URL describes as some sort of court hearing and restraint order. (Separate from RCR though.) Huh, guess I missed a lot of drama or something, probably for the better going by the few things that said video featured.
I guess those SMS's and other info provided is going to pretty much seal that story, though that lawsuit was for Starr Mazer and not RCR but I can't imagine things are looking good for her.

Him being trans is not the problem here he's just batshit insane on top of that, there are plenty of good trans people out there.
There is scientific proof now that at least for some of them it's not just a mental issue and their brain structure works in the same way as the opposite gender, plenty of mutations exist in biology so it's probably just another one, ofc some of them might just be insane, maybe this guy as well but there are specialists to sort that shit out.

Well these people have some problems but it's not causing too much trouble to other people, except some fucking crazies. So, whatever.
Anyway, this situation is not about transexuals but about a person being able to file falsified claims and causing all sorts of trouble. This system needs to change.

Body dysmorphia is not being happy with your body... a lot of people have that... a lot of transexuals have it as well. It leads to suicide when the sex change doesn't improve how they feel about themselves. Proving they needed therapy and not a sex change.
In most cases it is a mental disorder brought forth by idiots surrounding them. Making them feel like it's a right step, they feel loved and accepted and it's good feeling until the change happens... and the support they had while they were transitioning fades and after they transitioned it's the same behaviour they had before. They're accepted and welcome... but no one is going to baby you for the rest of your life. So the feeling of not being ok with who you are continues to grow... there are no other options...
So... you have a lot of these progressives turning people who feel shamed by society who go through drastic changes to somehow feel accepted and it doesn't work out.
There are also cases of homosexuals changing genders because they feel attracted to the same sex and to them it's wrong to be a homosexual so they change themselves to be part of the accepted society...
And there are genuine people who literally feel like they're in the wrong gender/sex and they change it. Those people are the important ones who everyone else ignores. They support everyone else, but legitimate causes... who just want change... are shunned as they aren't part of a narrative.
