Thats true actually, I forgot about the German brands...all Im saying is, I will never buy a Toyota, Honda, Saturn etc...I dont like the asian made cars...not as reliable, and the quality is inferior.

well ... really, toyotas and hondas are made right here, so they're as north american as GM/dodge etc. IMO.

Honda has been manufacturing Civics in Alliston, Ontario since 1985 as well ...

also, this:
Quote:
The Civic was Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1980, as well as its 2006 Car of the Year award. The Civic has been on Car and Driver magazine's annual Ten Best list six times, in 1985, 1988 through 1991, and 1996. The Civic GX, a natural gas version of the vehicle was named Greenest Car of 2005 by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy. Honda claimed 5 of the top 10 Greenest car slots, 3 of which were models of the Civic. The Civic Si was named "Best New Sport Car" and the sedan was named "Best New Economy Car" in the 2006 Canadian Car of the Year awards. The Civic also won the North American Car of the Year award for 2006.

I should also mention that I drive a Korean manufactured Chevy Wink

American Cars are fuel eaters, they just take so many fuel it's unbelivable.. no wonder the USA needs so much oil.

Japanese cars are extremely reliable, say nothing else. They do however have problems with rust here in Sweden because they don´t have "rustprotection" (wtf what´s the word? Razz) like swedish cars for example.

Drove one of them and they are Very nice and VERY big Very Happy... If you crash you will be in better shape than the little car you crash into Razz LOL

Drove a Few of them Celicas, they are Ok, the Dash is quite nice but the Wheels are Awful Razz, you will defiantly have to get new wheels.

Quite fast, but If I had that much money to spend I would go for a BMW E36 328i Convertable or E36 M3 Smile

Still quite a good car, Enjoy it Very Happy

I just bought a 2001 Toyota Celica GTS. And I know most of you don't care. But if anyone has any experience with this car, let me know. Thanks.

I test drove a new Celica 190 bhp about 18 months ago, almost bought it but the wife didn't like the fact there was no room in the rear for our little lad who's now five.

I spent 21k on a 2.5 Jag sport instead.

I used to own a Toyota Supra 95 with twin turbo, as some on this forum already know. Was a beatifull car and really turned heads at the lights. 0-62 in 4.9 secs. Cost me 12k and was a bitch on the MPG.

Sold it nearly a year ago as I got 9 points on my licence.

I currently own a new style Focus 115 TDCI Ghia, which goes ok, and is dead posh in side, but well, it's a Ford! Wish I'd waited 4 months I'd of bought the new Focus ST instead!

I'd love a Nissan Z350, you really should of considered one of these over the Celica, beatifull car!
