Hi,
I was wondering why the DVD-R of Doom is taking so long. The xvid is out for a couple days now, so the DVD is in the hands of sceners.
Does anyone know of have an idea?

well, maybe because they had a sneezy DVDr source, and now they dont release the DVDr to not expose the fact that the xvid didnt come from a decent R1/R2 retail source.

The quality was good enough for a release in my opinion. And if they don't want their name involved with such a non-scene or 'bad' release they could just use a NOGRP name.

I don't expect a good story of some great actors. I expect action and horror.
I don't think I'm going to be disappointed.

So have you finished crying about your wasted 100 minutes yet or are you still sobbing? I personally opted to watch paint dry and I'm glad I did, because the action was better written and the actors weren't all complete, no-talent hacks.

Hell no, watched 15 minutes last night but I was too tired to go on and my TV doesn't play 5.1 audio and that was what I was waiting for. So I might watch it tonight.
For the first 15 minutes I'm not disappointed...

I've finally watched it. It was like I expected and it deserves a 7 on a scale of 1 (worst) to 10 (best).
Dumb action and a simple story. They should make a game of this movie...

i hear valve is in talks with the makers of the movie for the rights to make a game version...
and 7 out of 10? yeah ok the movie wasn't complete crap, but come on...6 tops.

huh? Valve making game based on the Doom movie? Dont they need permission from ID Software?
