Yeah took me around 5 hours to beat it. Enjoyable from beginning to end, some really nice levels.
I especially enjoyed the "Effects and Cause" one, it had a pretty damn clever (and somewhat unexpected ) design. The whole campaign is a brief but intense ride, it's a shame that the challenge itself is always relatively low even on the highest level of difficulty, though thankfully how the maps are structured and the refreshing ideas behind them make up for it.
Titanfall2 really can't get on good terms... they're selling the game for 20$ very frequently, all the additional (real) content is free and the game itself is quite solid... and still nobody wants it. They do all the right things and get whacked for it... even getting fucked up the ass by their own publisher with questionable release dates... wtf is going on... damned if you do, damned if you don't

Sad...
except for the free content that was already the case in the first game.
people read too much shit and are biased by it.
you are right it's quite sad but nothing you can do about it.
would have bought it again but it was 100% clear that it will be dead after after a month because of those people who can't make up an own opinion. so there was no point

It's way too hardcore as a multiplayer game. I'm afraid fast-paced shooters are games of the past...
imagine how well this game would have done if it'd been on steam.
BTW, I am under impression that none of EA games for the past few years have been published on Steam? I wonder if there has been any statements from either Valve or EA concerning this?
Regardless, as long as publishers such as EA and Ubisoft keep restricting the languages in their games in different countries they will never see my money. And yes, the devs are also to blame for choosing the publishers with such discriminating policies.
EA doesn't need Steam anymore. Origin is pretty popular, forcefully or not and EA doesn't have to pay 30% to Valve and probably pay additional for commercials (like store page announcements).

Why then Ubisoft still sells on Steam while having their own platform like Uplay?

Because Ubisoft are desperate and always try to squeeze even the little bit of cash possible? They don't even invest in Uplay...
Huh? What makes you say that? Recently they redesigned their Ubistore web sites (in some countries at least) and Uplay as any similar client downloads updates all the time. They announce new features of the client all the time too: http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/515-Announcements-amp-News
