Hi guys,

following situation:

I record gameplay via Shadowplay. This covers the in-game sound & music and if I am in a teamspeak server then it only has the other people's voices automatically mixed in, because it records the default output device.

Then... my current workaround is to also use OBS in paralell to record only my audio with a black screen.

What I then do is I use ffmpeg to extract the audio only from the OBS file, because OBS cannot record audio only, it will always mix it in a container format that is normally used for videos.

The reason why I use OBS in the first place is because of noise suppression / noise gate, which are good features if you wanna record your voice.

However, the noise gate filter in OBS is of poor quality, especially when compared to Teamspeaks automatic noise compensation filters.

Now ... is there a tool out there for voice recording with better noise compensation features than OBS?

Ideally I'd like a plugin or option in Teamspeak to record my voice. What I mean by that is, not the voice directly from the mic, but my voice how it sounds after it's being fully processes by Teamspeak filters (so in other words, how other people hear me over TS3).

Don't know if this thread even makes sense to anyone, but maybe some had the same idea.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Around 9:30 he explains how he record with multiple audio sources, but I think in this video he only explains how to do it with the Astro mixamp.

Minute 8:40 he also explains how to do it via software.

And around 11th minute he explains how to use a program to separate the audio sources.
