Is it a video game now, or still just a sandbox where you place roads, plants, structures and press Play to see it in motion?

There's a quite decent management portion and they keep adding things here and there.

Did this ever get cracked? They seem to have cracked most of the other games with this protection.

Thanks

Yeah very true, but out of the games with this protection (so far) I have not wanted any they have cracked. Although of course I know others like them.

This^^
I cannot move the posts manually because the forum doesn't allow it (*shakes fist*), so I had to just clean up the off topic. Let's use the dedicated thread instead for D-related technicalities and talk (as per usual) Smile

Holy shit the performance is horrid. 1080gtx and i5, and im running it at 45fps on ultra. Lowest settings bring about frames around 60-70 but still. holy shit.

So, it doesn't need Steam, but if I have it installed anyway it will throw the install into my Steam folder?

The NFO is conflicted and confusing.

Does this interact in any way with my legit steam directory/account or not?

I can't confirm for Planet Coaster itself, but they're apparently using the same method as Dishonored 2, and I did install their version of Dishonored 2.
It allowed me to choose where to install it, it didn't default to any of my Steam folder, and it didn't touch my steam account. As far as I can tell, the pirated game stands alone.

Hmm.. running Win10 Pro Non-Creator Update (not pushed yet) but with everything else updated. Did not force install the DirectX drivers but did install its redistributables.
