Tomorrow at 18:00 (CEST) AS Roma vs Genoa CFC.
Not necessarily an interesting match, but (most likely) the last professional match of Totti.
He is 40 now and has played for As Roma for 25 years.
Nothing that I can write to actually describe his career but he is a great footballer.

The end of an era really..putting aside the rivalries, banter and whatnot, he's been an absolute legend.
With his quality and insane passing abilities he could have won so many more titles in his career, but decided to stay loyal becoming the king of Rome, for that he has all my respect. Razz

@Lolo: I believe the new sporting director (Monchi) also contributed to that, since he was the one who basically announced Totti's definitive end of the contract before Totti himself xD

_______________

It's that time of the year again, #WengerIn Pffchh
That was one hell of a final, very well played by Arsenal in all the departments, they really wanted the trophy to make up for the flabby season, and it showed. Conte's terrible relationship with cups continues Laughing

Totti retiring, never thought I'd live long enough to see the moment Laughing Sad Arrivederci Capitano!

As for Valverde, we'll have to see if he's the man for Barcelona, depending on how long he will last, it could be a breaking point for the squad soon.

Good signing for Pep's style of play, certainly not cheap but that's because today's market is just out of control. They really need some proper defenders too though if they want to win something Razz (stay away from Bonucci Mad )

tuchel sacked in dortmund, was to be expected. but cant have sporting reasons cause with him as coach bvb had made the best point per game rating since ever

rumors about players threatening to leave if he stays and personal conflicts with the management might be the reason.

personally im ok with that, i never liked him. hope they sign favre, that guy is great and deserves to have shot with a big team

Haha? Arsene deserves it. The dude has kept Arsenal at a high level for 20 years. If he decides to spend more these coming years, they're going to fight for the title.

I know Arsenal fans wanted him out, just to change things up, mainly.

The problem with this is that Arsenal needs a new philosophy, Wenger's isn't working anymore. He's also very bad in signing the right players.

Yeah, Xhaka, Ozil, Mustafi, Cech, Sanchez, Bellerin, etc - terrible terrible players.

Seriously though, I agree that Arsenal has ben ran too 'responsibly' in terms of finances, but that can change - and probably will change, I think with added pressure on Wenger to get results.

Yeah, I'm sure it will be easy to attract good players now when they aren't even playing in the CL. Laughing

You're not wrong, typically the philosophy at Juve is a soft one when it comes to players. If one expresses the desire to leave, then there's no need to insist, gief monies and everyone is free to go, no one is really untouchable. Razz I guess everything will depend on that bloody CL final though D:

Speaking of managers, the Arsenio contract was definitely in the air (a bliss and a curse Very Happy Laughing) same for Spalletti leaving (possible next destination might be Inter) and Montella being confirmed at Milan was expected as well. Didn't think Tuchel's situation was that bad, but in that case it's definitely for the best (I wonder if Aubameyang will leave anyway xD)

Check this one, usually there's a nice range of decent streams available, probably even more this time since it's the final Razz. (They'll add the links *soon*)

I'm not feeling the tension at all

gotta say final score is unexpected but second half was much much better for rma, only one team on the field, and ofc cr7 strikes again Laughing
all in all fantastic season and i hope perez realizes this and wont sell some players and bring others, i think the fact that real couldnt buy/sell players til this summer was the main reason it was a great team this season

Ramos is Ramos, he's always been a cunt.
But how on earth the referee falls for that an gives a red card, is beyond my comprehension.

ref was out of place indeed, in the first half he had some pro juve small decisions, very annoying...anyway ramos incident dont think changed anything, in the second half only one team existed

ps another balon d'oro for cr7 Laughing

All kidding aside, there isn't much to say, it was an absolute embarrassment and the most organized and physically capable (but also mentally) team in the world won..again, very deservedly so. Hats off to Real and Zizou really, the difference between the two teams was immense.

Juve's second half will be probably analyzed by Ancient Aliens, since clearly the players on the pitch were guided by a suicidal masochistic hivemind with the purpose of seeking pleasure though being ridiculized. The defense was completely unricognizable as well today, The Walking Dead. Modric, Kroos, Isco and Casemiro had a gangbang with our midfield and Ronaldo did what he always does best, but in general everyone was great for Real.

As if that wasn't enough, Dybala lost every ball, and Higuain..sadly like we say in Italy 'è come sparare sulla croce rossa' when it comes to finals. Oh well, not everyone can lose 7 of them, a record's a record Sad Laughing

Crying or Very sad
I thought it was in the air to be honest, there was wayy too much optimism from the various interviews. One can't simply underestimate RM, ever Razz
