I'm genuinely interested in how you have organized them, to find the one you are looking for?

Well mostly by sub-genre, most of it is House (EDM is what kids call that these days no?). Trance, Hard Trance, Jump, Hardstyle, New Beat, Techno, Dance, Goa,...

Usually me and my cousin mixed around 6 to 8 hours and even more in the weekend or on the job, so you develop a feeling for where everything is located. Just the colour/pattern of the side cover was enough. I could even differentiate between the different remixes and bootlegs we got, cousin couldn't so if he needed a specific remix he'd usually ask.

So... not really archived other than sub-genre/genre, a lot of our friends who dj'd would go further into that but to me it never seemed necessary.

Nice Very Happy Gives me a good excuse (like I needed one) to go back to the game. I'm going to try that camera mod that blackeyedboy mentioned as well.

Yeah it takes a while to configure it properly, but once one has manually tuned all the values and desired distance (+ FOV), it's a big improvement over the vanilla one in my opinion, which feels "disconnected" so to speak. The camera for combat has separate values as well so there's no problem mixing them up. Smile

I'll never get tired of repeating myself but make sure to play with the Friendly HUD also, it's essential since replaces the distracting mini-map (one of the main drawbacks of modern gaming Mad) with a handy Bethcompass or actual noninvasive markers that one can toggle with the BatGeralt vision, focusing on the environmental awareness rather than going after icons on the mini-map like pac man.
Then one can add the Crossbow Damage Boost mod too, Better FX, Blood and so on, generally the mods available don't really change the vanilla experience much but they surely improve it. I recently finally started Hearts of Stones, damn I had missed this game :')

Try mailing CDProjekt and see if they'll help you out and exchange your GOG key for a Steam key.

There's also the option to exchange retail GOG DLC codes for Steam codes but it only applies in the following case:
Code:

"Code exchange works only for the GOG.com game codes contained in the boxed Limited Edition of both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. It won't work for other versions of expansions nor with the base game codes."

Seriously... This is one of very few games I just picked my jaw from the floor after watching trees rocking with a wind as the storm approached and everything got dark and moody.
I am just a sucker for atmosphere and rain in games. (gta iv, sleeping dogs, metro, stalker and so on so on)

I mean HOLY SHIT, Witcher 3 is probably the best looking and detailed rpg game ever(best looking overall now on tech side is probably arkham knight). At least it have the best trees and wind. Just crazy Surprised
I really need to replay it on my 1060... When I played it, it was with 30fps and some settings limited Crying or Very sad and it was still amazing (aside from terrible, terrible movement delay and bad ui)

But then again - I also need to finally play mad max. People say it have great weather too Very Happy ... and it reminds me of fuel which is just amazing to roam around. '
I must be the only person who does that in games now... just walk/drive around and watch the environment. There is just little amount of games nowadays, where roaming around is not interrupted by side crap or collectibles or dlc something...

Just finished The Tower of Swallows during holiday, and I'm back in Witcher mode Very Happy
Been 2 years since I played Witcher 3 so I figured "fuck it, let's start a new game".
This time with the friendly hud mod. Ah, missed this game.

Seriously Netflix, don't fuck this up. And please, base the series on the books. Ciri is kicking real serious ass in Tower of Swallows (that gladiator scene Shocked ), I want this!

Going by the name I guess this is the video series showcasing free camera in some games and what goes on between scenes and cinematics, Witcher 3 has a pretty good built-in one when unlocked which was used heavily during the se..story cinematics. Razz

There are some clever solutions used in a few games and sometimes downright terrible ones, Witcher 3 primarily suffered from a animation glitch related to LOD and NPC which has seen a number of screens and videos though for the normal game you are unlikely to see this effect.

The streaming system is pretty fantastic too, eventually it'll stop when you go too far but it is possible to fly around the entirety of e.g Skellige and have it load towns and such as you get close but it usually won't load NPC or other actors like creatures until the player is there physically. Very Happy
(For movement that is several times that of walking or riding the pop-in isn't too bad either.)
