nah, he's right. i heard that in biology class once...earwax is a natural protection against infections.

yeah, and not every smoker gets cancer.

those with high risk-factors that still dont get the disease are called escapers.
And on the topic of ear-cleaning:
It shouldnt be done to often, but chances are that with people who clean them every day the ear-wax production is perhaps adapted to that.
One of the main reasons for people going to the doctor about hearing problems is clogged up ear-wax, usually because of bad cleaning. It depends on how you clean your ear. For example using q-tips can damage your ear if done wrong. Still, depending on how much earwax your ears produce it s not a bad idea to clean them once in a while  |

I was told in Biology class ,that the only thing you clean your ears out with was your elbow.
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

Or off any site about cleaning your ears.
I clean my ears after every shower, and so far i've been fine. I don't push it in, just sort of swirl the cotton bud around the outside.

Anybody see a documentry about a some chap who created candles, small sculptures and nic nacs out of his own ear wax? He had a fair sized collection browny/slimy objects in his front room. (hope no-ones eating)
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????
