Yes, the youngest Snake had the best character/actor not 'just' because of some the sexual stuff, but 'mainly' because of some of the sexual stuff - the oldest was basically a grumpy man, and the middle one had no personality, maybe she was supposed to be the diplomatic one, I don't fucking know what her deal was. These characters were so f'in poor.
Their characters are still alive in GoT afaik, but I don't see them play any important role. Remember they were supposed be excellent fighters, but the tv show made short work of that reputation. Maybe they can be redeemed somewhat in that regard versus the undead, IF they're even going to Westeros, I don't know. I'd probably leave them behind in Dorne.

We talked about this extensively, but they had to really rush the 'kidnapping' fight scene set in Dorne because they couldn't reserve the very popular location for long. It seems so brainless by the creators of the show, A) to pick this location, B) to rush complicated scenes like a multi-person melee fighting scene meant to show off high tier fighting. They could have just let this fight happen 'off camera' like so many other things do, and the Sand Snakes' image as good fighters would be kept intact a while longer.
At one point, a group of fans were raising money for a reshoot/supplement shoot of certain Dorne scenes. I'd be happy to see this happen from the creators themselves. When all seasons of Game of Thrones have aired; go back and make changes, remove or shoot some extra scenes and release a Special Edition that treats Dorne a bit better... among other things. It can be done, but I'm not sure it is worth the effort.
We said this and I say it again just cuz...
It doesn't help that the stunt-doubles didn't remotely resemble the actors: their faces, body type or height doesn't match either; but still they proceeded to film from angles showing the stunt-doubles' faces. You could have saved a lot if they wore masks or if the scenes were cut properly; ffs even add cgi in there if you had to. Leaving it in the tv show ruined Dorne for a lot of people, and I think readers of the books were disappointed with -everything- Dorne with the exception of the Red Viper and Prince Doran, though the latter is criminally sidelined in the show (both excellent actor and cast choices btw).

The creators of the tv show included more of Dorne at the expense of Iron Islands content. Time and budgets affect everything, of course.
I hope we'll see some action and actual stuff happen early on as opposed to everything meaningful happening on the rear-end of the season. So few episodes, man.

I fear that the last two seasons will be especially action-packed.
As i can't imagine them closing most or all story lines in a meaningful way otherwise, if they went with the same pace as previous seasons..
Do you think the Arya stuff will be any good? She'll take out Littlefinger? I dunno. I hope they won't spend a lot of time with her if she's just riding around by herself 65% of the time she's on-screen. Perhaps she'll meet up with Gendry Baratheon or something.
At least he'll have some protection if someone tries to stab him in the chest/below the throat...?

Well, I still don't get it how could almost everyone go crazy about this show.
And every people I ask: Don't just watch one episode, watch at least 3-4.
By watching the 1st episode: nothing made me "I will surely come back for the next one". Instead it made me think "what a boring show".
And yeah of course, If you read the books before the whole show began...thats another story.
This show's main attraction is just the very aggressive "hype" (or call it whatever you want).
And yeah, watched the seasons and of course there are some decent things happening in the show. But its like:
Watch 10 episodes and you get 1 episode which is good.
For me it seems I'm living in a world where:
They've released aliens and everyone: mediocre at best
and they've released Alien3: OMG! ROCKS!

I don't get your Alien analogy, but I understand your first part as I had exactly the same thought as you have and could not understand the hype either.
I can however confirm that (at least for me) 'biting' through the first episode opened my eyes.
I think I started over the first episode at least 2 times before it clicked for me personally; it could not hold my interest until I watched it until the end, started the second episode and from there on on I was hooked and watched all 5 seasons in the next 2 weeks. And I didn't read the books
