Unfortunately PC is not an option for me and I dont have PS4 Pro yet so Ill be playing on the bog standard PS4. Judging by my demo experience Ill be plenty happy with it
Am I the only one thinking about "Half Life" when playing the demo? Graphics are not that great, but I love the concept. Will probably buy it in the next couple of weeks, waiting for the reviews to kick in aswell.

Nope I got vibes of Half-Life, Dead Space, Bioshock and of course Dishonored

Don't expect them soon. ... Bethesda (as for their previous titles) won't send any review copies before the official release date
Hopefully we only have 3 days to wait . Really liked the démo
16 hours in, still feel quite a ways from the end and got lots of side quests to do!
It would be nice if the loading times were shorter between areas and there is also some weird 'drifing' issue where I am still moving in one direction despite thinking Im stood still. Its happened every time Ive played the game. Ive read lots of people are experiencing it and some reckon the solutkon is to buy a new controller!? I have 2 controllers and the issue occurs with both of them.
Im thinking it will get fixed in the next patch ...
I really enjoyed Prey and spent about 46 hours with it before completing and uninstalling it. Ill happily reinstall it if it gets some DLC.
Patch 1.04 dropped which adds PS4 Pro support and apparently fixes that god awful drifitng issue.

It's taken three months to comprehensively sort the issues, but we can finally recommend the PlayStation 4 version of Bethesda's excellent Prey with no reservations. The title launched with no PS4 Pro support and poor controller response (measured by latency specialist Nigel Woodall at a disappointing 217ms). Subsequent patches attempted to resolve the input lag issues, but introduced intrusive stutter and screen-tearing issues in the process. June's patch added PlayStation 4 Pro support, but the poor consistency in performance remained.
The good news is that the latest patch 1.05 update released yesterday finally resolves the issues. Properly frame-paced 30fps action is back on the table, with the stuttering and tearing issues gone, bringing the PS4 version of Prey into line with the Xbox One version - which never exhibited any of these issues. We did a quick high-speed camera capture of the game in motion to check on controller latency, and while the measurement is not quite as precise as we would like, input lag is now in the region of 133ms - slightly high for a 30fps game but clearly a huge improvement overall compared to the launch code.
I finished this game sometime ago and I must say it was a hell or a ride, really awesome game, great level design and all in space (i love science fiction), I am hoping for s sequal sometime. 8.5/10.
